Srixon – “The Iron Standard”: A campaign built on precision, process, and relentless refinement

April 23, 2026 – Building on the momentum of their global rebrand, Srixon is unveiling a new campaign “The Iron Standard.” Rooted in precision and guided by an uncompromising pursuit of performance, the campaign highlights the people and process that define Srixon’s craftsmanship, discipline, and engineering philosophy behind their acclaimed irons.

At the center of The Iron Standard is master craftsman Yuki Shimahara, whose workbench serves as the starting point for innovation. The campaign offers rare access to Shimahara’s process, from raw steel to the moment it reaches a golfer’s hands.

“With every new iron model, we build on the core strengths we’ve developed over time while also responding to trends we’re seeing,” said Yuki Shimahara, Engineering Manager and Principal Tour Engineer at Srixon.

“As an R&D team, we focus on refining everything we touch, down to the smallest details, even those that aren’t always easy to highlight like more visible technologies.”

“On ZXi, for example, we slightly adjusted the scoreline placement from the previous generation, softened the edge radius around the face, and refined the hosel shaping.”

“These are subtle changes and difficult to quantify, but from multiple perspectives they help improve consistency, feel, and overall performance.”

Collaboration is built directly into Srixon’s R&D process, where Shimahara works alongside fellow engineers and designers to refine every iron.

Craftsmanship, player feedback, and performance data are considered together, with each prototype shaped, tested, and evaluated as a team.

Insights from testing help guide subtle adjustments, creating a disciplined, interactive workflow where design and engineering evolve side by side.

This relentless approach reflects the philosophy behind Srixon Irons: progress demands tenacity – quiet, determined, exacting. The Iron Standard builds on the spirit introduced in Obsessed With It, extending that same dedication into a deeper, more transparent look at how Srixon Irons come to life.

“Design is always a collaboration. We work together to balance shaping, CG placement, and turf interaction with measured performance,” Yuki Shimahara continued.

“We review prototypes as a group, discuss what we’re seeing in testing, and refine the details step by step. That back-and-forth is what allows us to push performance while maintaining the precision players expect.”

Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, The Iron Standard emphasizes the work behind them. It showcases the measurable performance gains, player-driven insights, and unwavering attention to detail that shape every iron.

The campaign will roll out across digital, social, and global media channels, giving regional teams a clear foundation to extend storytelling through product education, player validation, and behind-the-scenes access.

Through this lens, Srixon reinforces its commitment to purposeful innovation, elevating performance while maintaining the restraint and confidence that define the brand.

At Srixon, the standard isn’t set at impact. It’s set long before and refined until it becomes The Iron Standard.

Srixon – New Look, New Era, Same Obsession: Srixon’s Global Rebrand Unites Golfers Worldwide

February 11, 2026 – Srixon, a global leader in tour-quality golf equipment and innovation, announces the launch of its new global brand platform, Obsessed With It,” marking a powerful reintroduction of the brand’s voice, identity, and vision worldwide.

Built on precision, performance and dedication, Srixon is trusted by some of the best professionals in the world but made for anyone obsessed with getting better. From tour players to weekend grinders, it’s not just about the scorecard, it’s about the shared love of the game.

“If there’s one thing every golfer understands, it’s obsession. Golf gets under your skin, occupying your imagination and relentlessly pulling you back in. That’s what elevates it from a game to something more. And it’s a shared experience uniting golfers since the dawn of the sport.

“Naturally, that’s the story we simply couldn’t escape throughout our rebrand efforts.”

“So, while Srixon’s new tone and manner is as rooted in performance as it’s ever been, Obsessed With It invigorates our brand with energy, excitement, and a fresh new look that resonates with golfers everywhere,” said James Fodera, Srixon Creative Director.

A Rebrand Inspired by the Players Themselves

This new chapter began with listening to the golfers shaping the game right now. A diverse mix, united by the same obsession. The ones who are redefining what serious golf means and what they expect from the brands they trust: honesty, precision, and the same relentless pursuit of the next level.

This shift marks a return to what golf really is, not as a polished product, but a living, breathing obsession. Through cinematic storytelling and design rooted in precision, Srixon celebrates those united by the game’s beautiful struggle and the players who come back again and again in the pursuit of better.

Refined Global Identity

Srixon’s new brand expression blends premium craftsmanship with quiet confidence, uniting their global markets under a modern, cohesive aesthetic. The refreshed look and voice embody precision and performance without pretense; discerning, competitive, aspirational, premium, and confident, yet always grounded in authenticity and respect for the game. From refined logos to photography that captures candid, human moments, the new visual identity reflects golf’s truest self.

Unlocking a new visual identity begins with a standalone mark. Srixon will feature its distinctive “S” across marketing efforts, creating a cohesive identity system that delivers immediate brand recognition at every touchpoint. The “S” doesn’t replace the Srixon wordmark, it amplifies it, forming a comprehensive visual ecosystem that strengthens the brand as a whole.

Additionally, the rebrand will unfold across four interconnected global campaigns, each illuminating at least one of three pillars which support Srixon’s new brand DNA: Peformance, Progress, and Fellowship.

These campaigns balance brand, product, and professional athlete storytelling to speak to every golfer who understands that progress isn’t a finish line; it’s a lifestyle. The game is evolving, getting younger and more diverse, and Srixon’s new platform reflects that energy.

“Our players told us they wanted to see more of themselves in the brand and that feedback became our blueprint for everything you’ll see in this rebrand. They’re not chasing perfection, that’s impossible in golf. What they are chasing is progress.”

“This new mantra honors that dedication and brings their passion to life across everything we do,” said Chris Kircher, Vice President of Marketing of the company.

Proof Through Performance

The rebrand also introduces new creative storytelling around Srixon’s latest product innovations. Letting the details of the product guide the experience, rather than clustered claims or endless specs. This new direction creates a sense of balance and focus, while maintaining that connection with players on a level that’s down to earth.

With this rebrand, Srixon invites golfers everywhere to see themselves reflected in the brand’s DNA, driven by passion, bonded by fellowship, and forever chasing that one perfect shot. Team Srixon is united by the obsession. Ready to join?

Srixon – Three Majors, one shared advantage: Srixon and Cleveland Golf deliver when it matters most

August 15, 2025 – In one of the most memorable seasons in recent years, Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment has stood at the heart of three major championship victories, a remarkable feat that underlines the performance and trust elite players place in the brands when everything is on the line.

The 2025 major season saw JJ Spaun, Grace Kim, and Miyu Yamashita each claim their first major titles, doing so in style, with Srixon and Cleveland Golf setups in the bag.

At Pinehurst, Spaun’s U.S. Open triumph was a masterclass in controlled aggression. He trusted his ZXi ironsand Z-STAR DIAMOND ball to hold firm under pressure, navigating the final round with precision and poise on a demanding layout that punished the slightest misstep.

Just weeks later, Grace Kim produced one of the season’s defining moments at The Amundi Evian Championship. Needing something special down the stretch, she found it: an eagle at the 72nd hole to force a playoff, with her approach shot landing just a foot from the flag. It was a bold, brilliant finish that showcased the full potential of her equipment.

Then came Royal Porthcawl. Battling gusting winds and coastal conditions in Wales, Miyu Yamashitadelivered a bogey-free closing round to capture the AIG Women’s Open. Her victory was built on consistency, calm decision-making, and total confidence in her clubs from tee to green, all while handling the pressure of links golf on a major stage.

Equipment Trusted by Champions:

  • ZXi Irons – unmatched feel and precision in all conditions
  • RTX ZipCore Wedges – spin, control and versatility where scoring matters most
  • ZXi Woods – long, workable, and reliable off the tee
  • Tour Golf Balls: JJ Spaun: Z-STAR DIAMOND; Grace Kim: Z-STAR DIAMOND; Miyu Yamashita: Z-STAR XV

These three victories on three contrasting courses, in three entirely different conditions, tell a clear story: performance under pressure, and equipment trusted to deliver in the sport’s most demanding moments.

While the major wins rightly command the spotlight, Srixon and Cleveland Golf athletes have continued to perform across the broader professional game. From PGA and LPGA events to the DP World Tour and Japan Golf Tour, the brands’ presence on leaderboards and in winner’s circles has been a constant theme throughout the year.

But the true quality of a player’s equipment is revealed in the majors, where nerves are tested and history is made. In 2025, Srixon and Cleveland Golf have proven themselves time and again.

Srixon – Grace Kim secures first Major title, The Amundi Evian 2025, with Srixon and Cleveland Golf in her bag

July 14, 2025 – Srixon staffer Grace Kim is officially a Major champion. The 24-year-old Australian surged to victory at The Amundi Evian Championship in dramatic fashion, capturing her first major title with a full bag of Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment.

Entering the final stretch of regulation, Kim climbed the leaderboard with a remarkable 4-under run over her last four holes, capped by a pivotal eagle on the 18th hole, where she stuffed her approach to just a foot to force a playoff.

Displaying full confidence in her equipment, Kim delivered under pressure. After a wayward approach found the water on the first playoff hole, she relied on her Cleveland Golf RTZ Wedge to chip in for an improbable birdie. On the following hole, she used her trusted Srixon ZXi 4-Hybrid to hit a pinpoint approach, setting up a 20-foot eagle putt, which she confidently rolled in to claim the title.

“The three holes I hit the same club — the 4-Hybrid, so I guess that will be staying around for a while. I don’t think I’ve shot as well as I have this week, ever”, said Grace Kim, Srixon Staffer.

From tee to green, Kim was in total control throughout the week, trusting every shot to the precision, feel, and reliability of her clubs. She hit 80% of fairways with the Srixon ZXi Driver, while her combination of Srixon ZXi Irons and Cleveland Golf RTZ Wedges delivered consistent scoring opportunities, helping her hit over 73% of greens in regulation for the tournament.

Kim’s performance not only showcased her incredible talent and composure but her grit when things weren’t going her way. This win also marks Srixon’s second major championship victory of the 2025 season, further reinforcing the brand’s presence and impact at the highest level of the game.

A look at the winning set-up in Grace Kim’s bag:

  • Driver: Srixon ZXi (9°)
  • Fairway Wood: Srixon ZXi (3)
  • Hybrid: Srixon ZXi (4)
  • Irons: Srixon ZXi5 (5i); Srixon ZXi7 (6i–PW)
  • Wedges: Cleveland RTZ (50°, 54°, 58°)
  • Golf Ball: Srixon Z-STAR Diamond

Srixon – Unmatched grit, major glory: J.J. Spaun conquers 2025 U.S. Open with ZX7 Irons and Z-STAR Diamond ball

June 16, 2025 – With unwavering resilience and poise, Srixon staffer J.J. Spaun delivered a major championship breakthrough at the 2025 U.S. Open, conquering the brutal test of Oakmont Country Club to claim his first major championship title.

The victory comes just months after Spaun’s close-call at The PLAYERS Championship – a near miss that tested his resolve but was important for his confidence moving forward. Despite mounting championship pressure and tough elements all day, Spaun remained calm after a shaky start that included a 5-over 40 to open his front nine. After an extended weather delay, Spaun started four back after the turn and hit the reset button. He would go on to fire an incredible 3-under 32, punctuated by a 64-foot birdie putt on the 18th green to finish the tournament at 1-under-par and two clear of the field.

“I never thought I would be here holding this trophy. I’ve always had aspirations and dreams, but like I said a few months ago, I never knew what my ceiling was. I never knew how good I could be, but I’m just proud I’ve been resilient in my career and pushed through a lot of things. Just trying to be the best golfer I can be, and I’m happy to be able to display that today at Oakmont,” said J.J. Spaun.

Spaun surged to an early lead with a historic front-nine 31 in Thursday’s opening round—the lowest ever recorded at Oakmont in U.S. Open history. That momentum carried through the week as he battled both the field and the course’s demands. Leaning heavily on his Srixon Z-STAR Diamond golf ball, Srixon ZX7 Ironsand Cleveland RTZ and RTX Wedges, Spaun highlighted his precision and creativity around the greens, finishing T9 in Greens in Regulation and inside the Top-20 in Strokes Gained: Around the Greens.

This is Spaun’s second career victory and wins the U.S. Open in only his second appearance. He now moves into sixth position in the FedExCup rankings.

With an electric finish on one of the most challenging courses in the world, Spaun was the only player to finish under par. His performance not only etched his name into major championship history but highlights the elite tools he used to get there.

Spaun’s winning setup at the U.S. Open Open included:

  • Driver: Titleist GT3 (9º, Fujikura Ventus Black VeloCore+ 6 X)
  • Fairway woods: TaylorMade Qi10 3 y 5 (15º y 18º, Mitsubishi Diamana PD 70 TX y 80 TX)

July 10, 2024 – In an exciting announcement made by the PGA of America on Monday, Srixon’s Keegan Bradley is set to become the next Captain for 2025 Ryder Cup’s United States team in the popular U.S. versus European team event held at the famed Bethpage Black in New York.

After earning his PGA Tour card in 2011, Bradley found success quickly, winning the HP Byron Nelson Championship and soon after the 2011 PGA Championship in a three-hole playoff. Bradley became only the third player to win a major in his first attempt.

Since that victory, Bradley has tacked on four more PGA Tour wins to his resume and now adds Captain in the largest team event in golf. He becomes the 31st U.S. Captain since the event began in 1927.

“My passion and appreciation for golf’s greatest team event have never been stronger. This event is unlike any other competition in our sport,” Keegan Bradley said.

“This edition will undoubtedly be particularly special given the rich history and enthusiastic spectators at this iconic course. I look forward to beginning preparations for 2025.”

Bradley’s previous experience as a player includes two appearances. He made his debut in 2012 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois and 2014 at Gleneagles in Scotland. He went 4-3-0 in the two events, proving his ability to perform under pressure and contribute to the team’s success.

The U.S. versus European event showcases the best golfers from both sides, with a storied history of intense competition and unforgettable moments. Bradley will have the opportunity to guide the U.S. team to victory and reclaim the title after the team’s most recent loss at the 2023 event in Rome.

Srixon congratulates Keegan Bradley on this tremendous honor and looks forward to seeing him in this new role. Bradley currently plays a mixed bag of Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment: Srixon ZX5 Mk II Irons (3i–5i); Srixon ZX7 Mk II Irons (6i-PW); Cleveland Golf RTX ZipCore Wedges (52°, 58°); and the Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND golf ball.

Srixon – The Soft Feel next generation, balanced in distance and feel, with an impressive ball speed

January 16, 2023 – Srixon, a global leader in golf ball technology and innovation, is set to launch the latest edition of SOFT FEEL golf balls in Europe on 10th February 2023.

Srixon’s SOFT FEEL provides golfers comfortable feel at impact and confidence at address. Equipped with a premium FastLayer Core, Speed Dimple and a soft, thin cover for enhanced greenside spin, SOFT FEEL delivers impressive ball speeds while balancing distance and feel.

“The consistent love for the SOFT FEEL has been tremendous and with each generation, this being our 13th, we’ve tried to incorporate new ways of providing golfers a softer feel that’s unmatched in a low-compression option,” said Lionel Caron, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Srixon Sports Europe.

“This is our softest FastLayer Core to date. It’s a core that is soft in the centre and firms up on the outside giving golfers equal parts distance and feel.”

Added core resiliency also plays a key factor in the SOFT FEEL. The FastLayer Core snaps back into shape more quickly after impact, delivering more ball speed, and reducing unintended long game sidespin.

SOFT FEEL golf balls include Srixon’s signature Speed Dimple, the 338 aerodynamic dimples improve the overall flight performance even in the toughest wind conditions. With a lower drag coefficient, the ball can cut through the air with less resistance, maintain a penetrating launch, and hold onto ball speed without sacrificing distance.

Two additional SOFT FEEL options are available in the SOFT FEEL LADY and SOFT FEEL BRITE. SOFT FEEL LADY is for women golfers who still want the softness of the SOFT FEEL, but a slightly higher launch for more distance. SOFT FEEL BRITE features Matte Visual Performance Technology, designed for those who prefer enhanced visibility on the course, while maintaining the exceptional feel and distance of SOFT FEEL.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES – SRIXON SOFT FEEL GOLF BALL

FastLayer Core: With a soft centre that gradually transitions to a firm outer edge, the FastLayer Core gives SOFT FEEL incredible softness and distance off the tee.

Speed Dimple: For more distance and better performance in the wind, Speed Dimples reduce drag at launch and increase lift during descent.

Soft, Thin Cover: Provides more greenside spin and softer feel on all pitches, chips, and putts.

Colors: SOFT FEEL is available in Soft White and Tour Yellow. SOFT FEEL LADY is available in Soft White or Passion Pink, and SOFT FEEL BRITE is available in Red, Orange, or Green.

Launch Date: 10th of February 2023

RRP: SOFT FEEL, SOFT FEEL LADY, and SOFT FEEL BRITE, 30€ box of 12 golf balls.
