Srixon – Keegan Bradley captures second Travelers Championship title and third straight win for Srixon

June 23, 2025 – In a dramatic finish filled with momentum shifts, Team Srixon’s Keegan Bradley captured his eighth career PGA Tour victory and second Travelers Championship title in front of an electric hometown crowd. With a bag full of Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment, Bradley once again proved he is a clutch closer when it matters most.

From tee to green Bradley’s game was locked in, powered by the precision and control of his equipment. Facing pressure late Sunday, Bradley leaned on his Srixon ZX7 Mk II 9-Iron to deliver one of the tournament’s biggest moments: a perfectly struck approach shot on the 18th hole that stopped five feet from the pin, setting up a birdie putt and sealing the outright win.

“I feel an obligation to play for the people of New England and the Northeast and represent them. This is the best way I can do it. Of all the shots and all the putts I’ve hit, I think I’ll remember that one the most,” said Kegan Bradley.

Bradley’s victory builds on the consistent excellence he’s shown all season. Entering this week with four top-10 finishes, he finally broke through with a statement win at TPC River Highlands. Backed by his Srixon Tour-validated Irons and Cleveland Golf Wedges, he ranked inside the Top 15 in Greens in Regulation, Approach, Around the Greens, and Strokes Gained Total.

This triumph caps off a dominant three-week run for Srixon and Cleveland Golf, with three consecutive victories by Srixon staffers Team Srixon (Ryan Fox, J.J. Spaun and Keegan Bradley) – underscoring a landmark year for the brands.

Srixon – Keegan Bradley, Srixon Tour staff player, named Captain for the U.S. Team of the 2025 Ryder Cup

July 10, 2024 – In an exciting announcement made by the PGA of America on Monday, Srixon’s Keegan Bradley is set to become the next Captain for 2025 Ryder Cup’s United States team in the popular U.S. versus European team event held at the famed Bethpage Black in New York.

After earning his PGA Tour card in 2011, Bradley found success quickly, winning the HP Byron Nelson Championship and soon after the 2011 PGA Championship in a three-hole playoff. Bradley became only the third player to win a major in his first attempt.

Since that victory, Bradley has tacked on four more PGA Tour wins to his resume and now adds Captain in the largest team event in golf. He becomes the 31st U.S. Captain since the event began in 1927.

“My passion and appreciation for golf’s greatest team event have never been stronger. This event is unlike any other competition in our sport,” Keegan Bradley said.

“This edition will undoubtedly be particularly special given the rich history and enthusiastic spectators at this iconic course. I look forward to beginning preparations for 2025.”

Bradley’s previous experience as a player includes two appearances. He made his debut in 2012 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois and 2014 at Gleneagles in Scotland. He went 4-3-0 in the two events, proving his ability to perform under pressure and contribute to the team’s success.

The U.S. versus European event showcases the best golfers from both sides, with a storied history of intense competition and unforgettable moments. Bradley will have the opportunity to guide the U.S. team to victory and reclaim the title after the team’s most recent loss at the 2023 event in Rome.

Srixon congratulates Keegan Bradley on this tremendous honor and looks forward to seeing him in this new role. Bradley currently plays a mixed bag of Srixon and Cleveland Golf equipment: Srixon ZX5 Mk II Irons (3i–5i); Srixon ZX7 Mk II Irons (6i-PW); Cleveland Golf RTX ZipCore Wedges (52°, 58°); and the Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND golf ball.

Bradley has 10 Srixon / Cleveland Golf clubs in his bag and plays the Z-STAR Diamond golf ball.

The New England native set the new 72-hole scoring record working his Z-STAR Diamond around TPC River Highlands, hitting 83% of Greens in Regulation.

“This [Z-STAR Diamond] ball is probably my favorite ball I’ve ever played at Srixon,” said Keegan Bradley. With rounds of 62, 63, 64, and 68, he ranked first in strokes gained approach to the green and first in strokes gained total.

“This is for all the kids who grew up in New England, who had to sit through the winters and watch other people play golf. I’m just so proud to win this tournament,” Bradley said. “I’m so thankful, this seems like a dream.”

This is Bradley’s second win of the 2022-2023 season, the first coming at the ZOZO Championship in the fall.

Cleveland Golf – Introduction of the new RTX 4, the most Tour authentic wedge of the brand ever

August 13, 2018 – Cleveland Golf has announced the introduction of the RTX 4, the most Tour-authentic wedge the brand has ever made. Enhanced with fourth generation Rotex, players will experience their best short game performance with the all-new RTX 4. The RTX 4 will launch in Continental Europe on 14th of September, 2018.

Cleveland Golf remains at the forefront of wedge design, producing short game innovations and technologies since 1979. With the RTX 4, Cleveland Golf held nothing back during development, creating a made-for-tour wedge in its purest form. Utilizing the latest face technologies of the company, tour-preferred shaping, expanded grind offerings, and the most popular components used by Tour professionals, the RTX 4 is the most tour-authentic wedge of all time.

“With the new RTX 4, we spared no expense in trying to achieve the best possible wedge for the best players in the world, and then bring that wedge to the consumer,” said Lionel Caron, President Continental Europe Sales at Cleveland Golf. “We worked tirelessly with our tour staff to refine every detail of the wedge and its shape to fit their needs.”

The foundation of RTX 4 is the 4th generation of Cleveland’s proprietary Rotex Face Technology. Following four life cycles, years of research, and millions of data points, the tolerances were tightened to help provide ultimate short game control. RTX 4 generates more spin through the sharpest Tour Zip Grooves, most aggressive face milling, and more precise laser milling for the hottest face Cleveland Golf has ever developed.

Following extensive tour feedback, RTX 4 features a more compact blade shape, with less offset and a smaller overall profile to provide that classic blade design that tour players prefer. Additionally, RTX 4 offers four new sole grinds, including an all-new XLOW grind, to provide the versatility to execute the most challenging greenside shots.

“It feels like the ball is really spinning off the face,” said Shane Lowry. “There are extra little grooves in there, which makes it spin more and it definitely does spin more.”

“I mean it’s got that soft feel which is so nice,” said Graeme McDowell. “I really love the bounce profile here. I like the feeling of using the back bounce on the wedge so, when I look at that, it’s something that really appeals to me.”

“What I love about this wedge is the sole in the bunker,” said Keegan Bradley. “It doesn’t dig in too much, and I’m able to really clip the ball and put a lot of spin on it. We are all very excited to play this wedge.”

“Having something that you can mishit a little bit and still see the results of what you’re trying to accomplish is amazing,” said Sean Crocker.

“Cleveland wedges have already been the best wedges in the game, and this just makes it even better because to improve on their wedges is something hard to do, but they’ve done it with RTX 4.”

KEY INNOVATIONS INSIDE RTX 4

  • Rotex Face Technology: The 4th generation Rotex Face features Cleveland’s sharpest grooves and most aggressive face milling pattern.
  • Tour-Developed Sole Grinds: Four sole grinds, deliver enough versatility to execute every short game shot imaginable.
  • Progressive Feel Balancing Technology: Next-generation Feel Balancing Technology is optimized by loft for even more short game control.
  • Tour-Authentic Components: RTX 4 comes standard with the #1 wedge shaft and #1 wedge grip on the PGA Tour.
  • Tour Shaping: Tour-driven compact shaping uses less offset to provide more workability and confidence at address.

Cleveland’s RTX 4 wedges are offered in a variety of different degrees and grinds. The FULL Sole grind is offered in 56 through 60 degrees, the ●●MID Sole grind is offered in 46 through 60 degrees, the LOW Sole grind is offered in 56 through 64 degrees, and the XLOW Sole grind is offered in 58 and 60 degree lofts.

The wedges are available in two different finishes, (Tour Satin and Black Satin) and left and right-handed options. Cleveland’s RTX 4 wedges are priced at 139.99€.
