Callaway Golf – Rogue ST, Odyssey and Jon Rahm dominate the 2022 DP World Tour Championship 2022

November 21, 2022 – Callaway Golf and Jon Rahm ended the 2022 DP World Tour season in style by making history at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

The Spanish Callaway Staff Professional (28) – now a nine-time winner on the DP World Tour – also became the first player to win five Rolex Series events, and a record third DP World Tour Championship title.

“I like this golf course and this course likes me. I hope this is the third title of many more,” said a jubilant Jon Rahm, after a final round 65, finishing on 20 under par.

The World #5’s victory, using a Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver, put the icing on a stellar 2022 season for Callaway.

Not only was the brand crowned the #1 Driver at the season-ending finale, it was also #1 Driver brand across the whole 2022 season.

Odyssey, the #1 Putter On Tour, was also crowned the #1 Putter Brand at every DP World Tour event – with 58% of the tournament field trusting Odyssey at Jumeirah Golf Estate’s Earth Course.

Jon produced a dominant display on the greens, gaining +1.78 shots on the field in putting alone, using his Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S and a Callaway Chrome Soft X 22 golf ball.

His winning bag also included two Rogue ST Fairway Woods, Apex TCB Irons, and a trio of JAWS Forged Wedges.

Topping a fabulous week for #TeamCallaway, fellow Callaway Staff Professional and 10-time DP World Tour winner, Alex Noren, took joint second place, with fellow Staffers, Jorge Campillo and Adri Arnaus, joint ninth.

Neil Howie, President and Managing Director of Callaway EMEA, summed up a superb 2022: “We’ve enjoyed a wave of victories across the 2022 DP World Tour season and Jon’s landmark victory has ended one of the finest ever Tour season’s for Callaway and Odyssey. Callaway Golf – Callum Shinkwin and the Rogue ST LS Driver cruise to victory in Wales

August 8, 2022 – A full bag of Callaway and Odyssey products powered Staff Professional Callum Shinkwin to his second DP World Tour title at the 2022 Cazoo Open in Wales.

Callum put on a sublime final day performance on his way to a four-shot victory. His final 18 holes included six birdies and at one point he was six shots clear of his nearest rival, before claiming the title and the €297,500 winner’s cheque.

Immediately after winning, an emotional Callum, who moves to 28th in the DP World Tour rankings, said: “I’m so over the moon. I played great today. My nan sadly passed away three weeks ago and to have my mum here to watch this is huge for me.”

The 29-year old Englishman’s winning bag included the Rogue ST LS Driver and Fairway Woods, the new JAWS Raw Wedges, Chrome Soft X Golf Ball and Odyssey Toulon Putter.

The Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver is a low spin option for better players and is the latest evolution of Callaway’s Tour-proven Triple Diamond heads. It’s the lowest spinning Rogue ST Driver model, with a neutral-to-fade bias in a compact 450cc head.

Rogue ST LS Fairway Woods feature a deeper face with a compact footprint especially suited for better players. The 28g Tungsten Speed Cartridge and forward weight screw push the CG forward for low spin, while the shape and face profile make this Callaway’s most fade-capable fairway wood.

JAWS Raw Wedges feature the most aggressive grooves in golf, with a raw face that promotes maximum spin. For the first time ever, Callaway has brought tungsten technology to a wedge, for a weight balanced club that offers both feel and control.

Callum’s Chrome Soft X Golf Ball features new, proprietary Precision Technology, and is faster off the driver with a spin profile that is optimised for Tour pros and better players.

Finally, Callaway MB ’21 Irons and an Odyssey Toulon Madison Putter completed Callum’s winning equipment. Odyssey remains the #1 Putter on Tour and has incredibly been the #1 brand for the last 50 Majors.

Neil Howie, President and Managing Director of Callaway EMEA, concluded: “Our products are proving to be decisive for our team of Staff Professionals as they continue to claim key Tour titles around the globe. Congratulations go to Callum, who dominated this DP World Tour event and made the difficult task of winning an important tournament, look very easy.”

Callaway was also the #1 Driver Brand at the AIG Women’s Open, with 54 total in play (no other brand had more than 33). The success is led by the popularity of the Rogue ST Drivers, which continue to win on golf’s biggest stages.

What’s in the bag of Callum Shinkwin?

  • Fairway woods: Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond 3 and 5 (15º y 18º)

New RAZR XF, Callaway’s most sophisticated game-improvement iron ever

September 12, 2011 – Callaway is proud to announce the launch of RAZR XF, the company’s highest specification game improvement iron to date, blending unparalleled forgiveness and accuracy with premium materials and exceptional styling. Designed specifically to appeal to the improving golfer who demands a golf club constructed from the finest materials with the performance and playability to match, the new RAZR XF Irons complement Callaway’s existing Legacy irons that were created with a similar styling and performance ethos but targeted at mid to low-handicap golfers.

Neil Howie, Callaway’s President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “The new RAZR XF Iron will undoubtedly appeal to the committed player who is focused on maximising their potential, safe in the knowledge they are using one of the most refined, visually striking game-improvement Irons currently available on the market.”

The ultra-premium appearance of the RAZR XF Iron, unashamedly targeted at mid to high-handicappers, comes courtesy of Callaway’s exclusive Black PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) finish that produces a stealth-like appearance that not only captures a golfer’s attention, but also significantly reduces the glare off the club face in bright conditions, improving playing performance.

The main body frame of each club head is forged from 1025 carbon steel and perimeter weighted to achieve the highest MOI (resistance to twisting) of any iron Callaway has ever created. This, coupled with a 455 Carpenter steel face to generate faster ball speeds for added distance, creates increased forgiveness while also providing soft, responsive feedback at impact.

A key game-improvement feature of the RAZR XF Iron is its wide sole design, specifically engineered to position the centre of gravity low and deep (to enhance playability) to easily compensate for off-centre strikes. In addition to this, a lightweight Winn grip is used throughout the set as standard, helping to convert as much swing speed as possible into impact energy with the golf ball.

“The RAZR XF is a statement of what is possible with a game improvement iron and we are proud to deliver such a high performance, premium product to the multitude of mid to high-handicap golfers we know will benefit from this incredible engineering,” added Neil Howie.

Another standout feature of the RAZR XF Iron is the special medallion placed in the cavity of each club head. Constructed from aluminium and injection-moulded plastic, it precisely fine-tunes the sound of the club at impact with the ball, and enhances feedback to the golfer.

Available in both men’s right and left-handed, 3–SW, the RAZR XF is also offered in a ladies version (5–SW), right-handed only. RAZR XF Irons are available at retail from October 1st, 2011.

Recommended retail price: Graphite shafts: 1,399 €; steel shafts: 1,199 €.
