DP World Tour – The Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship 2026, a golf tournament for everyone

May 1, 2026 – The Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, taking place from May 7-10 at the Real Club de Golf El Prat, offers a host of activities for the public to enjoy a spectacular golfing event packed with attractions. The DP World Tour returns to Barcelona in style with an event designed for everyone.
Getting to the tournament couldn’t be easier. From Thursday 7 May, spectators will have access to free public parking in the vicinity of the club, with a continuous shuttle service to the main entrance, running from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm at the weekend. There will also be a taxi pick-up point at the roundabout leading to the club.
Along the spectacular Pink course at the Real Club de Golf El Prat, fans will be able to follow players such as Francesco Molinari, Pablo Larrazábal, Ángel Ayora, Eugenio Chacarra and Matteo Manassero up close, and enjoy various rest and dining areas spread across the course.
The hub of activity for the public will be the Village, a space for all ages that will offer food and drink points, a shopping area, music and a large chill-out zone with a giant screen to follow the competition.
Within the Village, younger visitors will have access to a play area supervised by tournament staff, where ‘hole-in-one’ competitions will be organised on six holes adapted for different disciplines: golf, foot golf, basket golf, padel golf, base golf and hockey golf. Each day, from Thursday to Sunday, prizes will be awarded in the morning and afternoon to the first participants to complete the challenge and achieve a hole-in-one.
In the hockey golf discipline, the winners will be eligible for replicas of the Olympic gold medal won by the Spanish women’s team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, a feat that took place in the city of Terrassa.

Along the course, spectators will find further catering and rest areas at holes 3, 7 and 13, as well as another giant screen at the 18th hole. An autograph signing area will be set up once the players have finished their round and, for those wishing to purchase official merchandise, there will be sales points at the RCG El Prat pro-shop and in the Village.
The organisers of the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship have paid particular attention to accessibility, with specific measures in place to ensure that people with reduced mobility can easily access the venue and enjoy the event. A Blue Parking zone will be available, and within the course, reserved viewing areas will be provided at the 1st tee, the 10th tee and the 18th green, as well as adapted toilets in the commercial area and at the 10th hole.
Tickets for the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship (with a 25% discount for federation members, 50% off for young people aged 13 to 17, and free entry for children under 13) can be purchased here. Throughout the tournament, the ticket office at El Prat will be open.
Fans wishing to enjoy a more comprehensive experience can purchase VIP tickets via the tournament website. These tickets include services such as reserved parking, all-day access to the VIP area of the clubhouse with views of the practice area, an outdoor terrace, breakfast and lunch, complimentary bar service, and exclusive access to the bar on the 18th green.
The Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, a DP World Tour tournament included in the Race to Dubai as the first event of the European Swing, is held thanks to the essential collaboration of the Real Club de Golf El Prat. It is sponsored by Estrella Damm and will kick off the Road to 2031 Ryder Cup, a journey that will end at the 2031 Ryder Cup to be held at Camiral.
