Callaway Golf – A New Equipment Partnership with Jon Rahm and Legion XIII, Including the Elyte Driver

March 6, 2025 – Callaway Golf, the industry leader in equipment design, performance, and innovation, has announced a new equipment partnership with Jon Rahm and his LIV Golf team Legion XIII.

July 15, 2024 – Today Callaway Golf, one of the industry’s leaders in equipment design, performance, and innovation, announced their new family of Opus and Opus Platinum Wedges. Led by innovative new Spin Gen Face Technology, these wedges provide extraordinary performance with unparalleled craftsmanship and Callaway’s most advanced engineering.

Spin Gen Face Technology provides spin and control by combining three key elements on the Opus face. An all-new tighter pitch puts more grooves on the face, an offset groove-in-groove design creates spin when opening the face, and a new aggressive face blast is developed for spin and bite on partial shots. These three elements work in conjunction to provide crisp, Tour-level spin that promotes short game action and control like never before.

Opus Wedges also feature the most Tour-tested, Tour-validated shapes in Callaway history. A higher toe peak, radius in the leading edge, and easier hosel transitions make for their best wedge shape ever.

Callaway Golf – Nacho Elvira triumph in Belgium using Paradym Ai Smoke driver and Chrome Tour golf ball

May 28, 2024 – For the second consecutive week Callaway’s Paradym Ai Smoke Driver and Chrome Tour Golf Ball secured another headline victory, as Staffer Nacho Elvira triumphed at the 2024 Soudal Open.

Hot on the heels of fellow Callaway Staff Player Xander Schauffele’s wire-to-wire maiden Major success at the PGA Championship, the Spaniard led from the front on the final day at Rinkven International Golf Club in Belgium, to secure his second DP World Tour title.

The 37-year-old shot 22 birdies across the tournament week, firing a -18 total for a one-shot victory.

Among his full bag of Callaway and Odyssey equipment, including a White Hot OG Rossie Putter, was a Paradym Ai Smoke Driver and Fairway Wood, plus a Chrome Tour Golf Ball, the company’s new gold standard in performance.

An emotional Nacho, who secured a €393,133 winner’s cheque, said: “I’m very happy. I was a little bit emotional because I know all the hard work that I put in that sometimes doesn’t show. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Callaway Golf – The #TeamCallaway at the 2024 US PGA Championship, ready with 21 players

May 16, 2024 – It’s major week once again and today the #TeamCallaway Staffers will be teeing it up at Valhalla Golf Club for the 2024 US PGA Championship. 

Valhalla GC, located in Louisville, Kentucky, last hosted the PGA Championship 10 years ago in 2014 and there will be plenty of Paradym Ai Smoke Drivers on show this week, with 21 Callaway Staffers competing for the Wanamaker Trophy. 

Xander Schauffele is in fine form as of late, following a strong performance at the Wells Fargo Championship last week and with 12 top-10 finishes in majors since 2017, he will be one to watch at Valhalla as he continues his quest for his maiden major title. 

Currently ranked 7th in Strokes Gained; Approach the Green on the PGA Tour, Xander is loving the performance of the new Callaway Chrome Tour Golf Ball, saying earlier this year: “The new golf ball has been amazing. It really checks all the boxes for me. It’s got a very stable flight off the tee. It maintains spin really well on half shots. It’s got great spin and feel around the greens.

Callaway Golf – Minjee Lee, #5 player in the World Golf Rankings, announced as new staff professional

February 5, 2024 – Today Callaway Golf, one of the industry’s leaders in equipment design, performance, and innovation, announced a new multi-year staff pro agreement with global women’s golf superstar, Minjee Lee. With this announcement, Lee will carry 14 Callaway clubs in the bag, including an Odyssey Putter, plus a Callaway golf ball, bag, and glove.

The 27-year-old Australian native has been a dominant player throughout her golf career. Lee was the #1 ranked Women’s Amateur prior to turning professional in 2014, and since then she has won 10 LPGA Tour events, including major victories at the 2021 Amundi Evian Championship and the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open. She recently won two LPGA events in 2023 at the Kroger Queen City Championship and the BMW Ladies Championship. Her brother Min Woo Lee is also a Callaway PGA TOUR Professional.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Callaway Staff, and I’m excited to see how their equipment will help my performance going forward,” Minjee Lee said. “They’re the most played club brand on the LPGA, so I’ve seen how good the product is, and how much it’s helped my brother take his game to the next level. Rahm joined Callaway in 2021 and earned his first major championship win at the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, which moved him to Number One in the World Golf Rankings.
