SuperStroke Golf – Sergio Garcia played a full bag of SuperStroke grips to win at European Tour

February 7, 2017 – SuperStroke Golf Grips were used by Sergio Garcia last week to capture the European Tour‘s Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Garcia used a full bag of SuperStroke Golf Grips, including S-Tech club grips and a CounterCore Mid Slim 2.0 putter grip, in his TaylorMade Golf equipment.

Garcia led the field in Fairways in Regulation and ranked in the Top-3 both in Driving Distance and Driving Accuracy for the week. The victory also moved Garcia to 9th in the Official World Golf Rankings, joining fellow SuperStroke user Jordan Spieth inside the Top-10.

This is Garcia’s 2nd win with S-Tech club grips since their launch in 2016, after the Ho Tram Open at the Asian Tour.

SuperStroke Golf Grips captured half of the top 24 spots in the Waste Management Phoenix Open last week on the PGA Tour. This group of players included Jordan Spieth, who also utilized a full bag of SuperStroke Golf Grips. Spieth finished the week in a tie for 9th place while using S-Tech club grips and a Flatso 1.0 putter grip. Spieth has finished in 9th or better every event so far of the 2017 PGA Tour season.

This week the PGA Tour heads to Pebble Beach, where Spieth and other SuperStroke users will compete in the celebrity pro-am style format during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The European Tour will head to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the Maybank Championship. Victor Dubuisson will be competing with a full set of SuperStroke Golf Grips.

SuperStroke Golf Grip‘s new S-Tech club grips have a soft, tacky feel from premium rubber compound that deliver excellent feedback and control. The Cross-Traction surface texture provides an incredible non-slip surface in all weather conditions, which enhances control and performance. SuperStroke Golf Grips Staff Players Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, and Victor Dubuisson trust S-Tech golf grips in every competition.

SuperStroke Golf Grips have incorporated CounterCore technology in all new putter grips for 2016. CounterCore Technology lets golfers fine tune the feel and stability of the putter by adjusting the weight of the golf grip. Adding a 50g back-weight engages larger muscles in the arms, shoulders and back, which results in more of a pendulum motion. Plus, SuperStroke’s patented NO TAPER design promotes even grip pressure, which leads to better putting. It can also be played without the additional weight if you prefer.

TaylorMade Golf – Sergio Garcia wins Omega Dubai Desert Classic with a full bag of new 2017 equipment

February 6, 2017 – Sergio Garcia claimed his 12th European Tour title as he completed a dominant wire-to-wire win at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Gaming a full bag of new 2017 TaylorMade equipment, including the new 2017 M2 Driver and TP5 golf ball, Garcia set the tone for the tournament with an opening 65 and never looked back. Wearing adidas Golf apparel and footwear, Garcia continued his momentum and finished strong with a bogey-free round 69 to get to -19, beating his nearest competitor by three shots.

This win marks Garcia’s 12th win on the European Tour and moves him back into the Top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking. He claimed the second global victory for the new TP5 golf ball, after the first by Jon Rahm last weekend (TP5 and Tp5x golf balls will available at retail in March).

The Spanish golfer played the 2017 M2 Driver, and his key statistics are outstanding. He took the 3rd position in Driving Distance with 305 yards and the 2nd in Driving Accuracy with 69.6%. Playing his new P750 Tour Proto irons throughout he took the 1st position in Stroke Average with 67.25, and was also the 1st of Green in Regulation with 81.9%. Garcia’s win marks the second win for the adidas Golf Powerband BOA BOOST.

For the company, this event at the Emirates Golf Course has been a complete success. This is the 4th worldwide win, and the 2nd on the European Tour this year for TaylorMade’s 2017 M drivers. The PGA Tour saw fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm claim victory at the Farmers Insurance Open last week gaming a 2017 M2 Driver. TaylorMade also had 45.5% driver and 41.9% fairway wood counts at the tournament, both of which led all manufacturers by substantial margins. So, the 2017 M1 440 has been claimed the No.1 Driver model. The all-new M metalwoods have dominated during the European Tour Desert Swing claiming No.1 Driver model at each tournament.

Nike Golf – Rory McIlroy’s arsenal to win Omega Dubai Desert Classic

McIlroy-Dubai-1

January 2, 2015 – Rory McIlroy, the No. 1 golfer in the world, has clinched his first win in 2015 – one step closer in his journey to The Masters. The Nike athlete’s dominant victory came at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour, the same place he won his first tournament as a professional in 2009.

Having led from day two, his 22-under- par 72-hole total tied the lowest score ever recorded in the history of the tournament, and left his pursuers three shots back. So far in 2015, McIlroy’s record is nearly perfect, having finished second and first in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively.

With the new Nike Vapor Pro driver in his bag, McIlroy led the field in driving distance averaging 317.9 yards. McIlroy was influential in the development of the Vapor Pro driver, which became available in stores on January 30, 2015. It blends three key technologies: Nike’s new FlyBeam reinforced Covert Cavity Back design, a re-engineered Compression Channel and FlexLoft 2. All of these are vital to the golf athlete in achieving the ultimate in hitting their window of distance, speed and launch conditions.

McIlroy relied on his new wedge, a Nike Engage Dual Sole 59-degree, to help him get through the rough more consistently. For impressive accuracy and control, McIlroy also relied upon the Speedlock RZN Core technology found in his Nike RZN Black golf ball.

The innovative Speedlock RZN core, created with an interlocking core design, helps promote better energy transfer between the layers at impact for faster ball speed, longer distance and more stability into the wind.

On the body, McIlroy sported the Nike Lunar Control 3, another product he helped inspire, as well as apparel from Nike Golf’s Performance Collection.
