Bettinardi Golf – New Studio Stock, Queen B and Inovai premium putters for 2021

December 28, 2020 – Bettinardi Golf, leader brand in precision-milled putters and inventor of one-piece technology, has announced their all-new production of putter collections for 2021/22, the Studio Stock, Queen B series and Inovai 7.0.

Robert and Sam Bettinardi continue their legacy, bringing us the next generation of world-class milled putters in the upgraded Queen B and Studio Stock series. All putters are crafted in the USA with a variety of face milling technologies, including their newest Roll Control Face which is featured on the 2021 Studio Stock series.

Tour inspired and designed in conjunction with some of the best golfers of the world, each new putter underwent rigorous testing and milling procedures from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right outside of Chicago.

Exclusive in the Studio Stock 2021 models, the new Roll Control Face milling was scientifically engineered with an asymmetrical design groove profile that promotes more topspin at impact, and shortens the distance the ball takes to acquire a true roll with each putt.

Precision-milled from 303 Stainless Steel, 2021 Studio Stock series includes 7 putters, starting with the Studio Stock 17 with the first ever soft Tri-sole design, and ending with the timeless Studio Stock 18 blade. From the high toe SS17 to the low profile body SS18, both incorporate highly sought-after Tour features.

“We are proud to bring more design features from the world’s best players to the general public”, Sam Bettinardi said.

“The new Studio Stock series offers Bettinardi’s latest enhancements in design, performance and quality. From a soft-Tri sole on the SS17, to the sleek appearance on the SS18, we took highly-requested Tour features to production to give all golfers champion-level confidence at every crucial putt”.

The redesigned and elegant Queen B 2021 series continues the refined, multi-Tour winning Queen B6 wide-body blade. The upgraded series also features two completely new models, the Queen B11, a compact mallet, and the Queen B12, a fresh blade in a traditional style.

Beauty meets innovation in this lineup, as each Queen B putter is milled from a single block of soft Carbon Steel to 362 grams, including Micro Honeycomb Face Milling, and is completed in a stunning and durable Rose Golf PVD finish.

“It’s the ultimate in both performance and aesthetic charm. Our new Rose Gold finish is absolutely beautiful, and makes the line an unmatched work of art,” Founder Robert Bettinardi said.

Lastly, the Inovai 7.0 is added alongside the esteemed Inovai 6.0, furthering the promise of offering MOI with feel. Its upgrade makes it the highest MOI putter ever produced by Bettinardi, a 30% higher than the 2003 U.S. Open winner model that inspired it.

Precision-milled from 303 Stainless Steel and 6061 Military-Grade Aluminum, the bi-metal technology optimizes weight distribution with more mass in the rear, providing ultimate forgiveness and stability.

“While the 7.0 is inspired from past success, the model is completely upgraded with our new bi-metal technology, combining Bettinardi’s values of heritage and innovation to offer confidence-inspiring looks with modern performance benefits,” concludes Sam Bettinardi.

Bettinardi Golf – The Studio Stock 38 Armlock, a mallet model added to the Armlock putter range

March 18, 2019 – Bettinardi Golf, known for their world class putters, which are precision milled in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility just outside of Chicago, has extended their Studio Stock line to include the Studio Stock 38 Armlock. The SS38 Armlock, milled from a solid block of 303 stainless steel, will now offer amateur golfers alike a high performing, compact mallet in an Armlock style putter. The SS38 joins the SS28 Slotback as the 2nd Armlock option in the Golf Digest Gold winning 2019 Studio Stock Series.

Bettinardi Golf pioneered the Armlock technology in 2013 with Bob Bettinardi and his work alongside staff player Matt Kuchar, a 9-time PGA Tour winner. Kuchar, who was looking for ways to become a more consistent putter after winning the PGA Tour money title in 2010, turned to Bob to become his go-to source for his most trusted club in the bag. Over the last nine months on the PGA Tour, the Armlock technique of putting has won eight times including two by Matt Kuchar, creating a surge in demand and interest in the unique style.

“The Beauty of the Armlock style of putting is that it takes out any unwanted wrist and hand motion in the putting stroke, and putts an emphasis on the upper body in order to swing it more consistently under pressure when it matters most”, said Sam Bettinardi, Vice President of Bettinardi Golf.

“We are very proud to have been the first company in golf to introduce the Armlock method of putting six years ago with Matt Kuchar, and will continue promoting and investing in this method by adding the SS38 as a new mallet option”.

The All-New Studio Stock 38 Armlock Putter

The Studio Stock 38 Armlock mallet putter was crafted from the finest 303 Stainless Steel, and precision milled to a 400-gram head weight with Bettinardi’s patented F.I.T. Face Milling. The SS38 was engineered to be a more rounded, compact, cavity-back mallet to offer players high MOI, forgiveness, and easy alignment. Completed in a stunning hand-polished platinum finish, the SS38 is extremely durable and offers a clean appearance with its single-bend look with one shaft of offset, and minimal toe hang. The SS38 Armlock it has a 40″ standard lenght and will be paired with a 15” Deep Etched Cord Grip by Lamkin and a premium matching headcover.

Bettinardi Golf – Launch of an eye-catching new putter range for 2018

January 1, 2018 – Bettinardi Golf, the specialist milled putter manufacturer that has gained market share across Europe, is introducing five new putters for the 2018 season, including a brand new BB Series collection and a innovative iNOVAi 5.0 selection.

The full 2018 range, consisting of 12 premium putters across its four striking series – including the popular Queen B and Studio Stock models – is hand-crafted from a single piece of high-quality milled carbon steel using hi-tech CNC milling technology at the brand’s state-of-the-art factory, just outside Chicago.

“We’re extremely excited with the range for this season, as we have even more innovative technology mixed with the best face-milling technology in the game,” said Sam Bettinardi, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We have increased the Bettinardi Tour presence across the PGA, European and LPGA Tours and used the feedback from many elite players to refine a range that offers a putter to suit every golfer,” he added.

The new BB Series, which has been part of the Bettinardi line-up since its creation in 1999, features a striking new look and innovative technology that encompasses the Bettinardi drive for perfection on every model.

Finished in a durable ‘stealth’ Matte Black colourway, the four new BB models feature the distinctive Bettinardi branding in eye-catching electric yellow, with the same colour used in the exclusive deep-etched Lamkin corded grip.

The new Super-Fly Mill Face milling featured on all BB models offers a responsive feel at impact made for players looking consistent speed and feel.

The classic heel-to-toe weighted BB1 blade had been updated with a soft Carbon Steel head to complement its indented neck that flows into the steel shaft. Its new blade partner is the more offset BB29, which encourages golfers to set the hands further forward at address and throughout the stroke. The indented neck is ridge-milled with the head featuring squared shaped bumpers on both the heel and toe, plus a rounded topline to frame the ball effortlessly at address.

Another newcomer to the range is the BB39 half-moon mallet, made with soft Carbon Steel, that provides higher perimeter weighting for a greater MOI (Moment of Inertia). “Additional MOI means the head is less likely to twist and turn at impact because of its deeper profile and sleek frame,” explained Sam.

The BB39 also includes added material on the flange extending from the topline to the rear, making it easier to line-up with the elongated sight line.

Completing the BB series is the BB56, now in the golf bag of Francesco Molinari, that adds a new element to the putter category by raising the centre of gravity (COG) higher on the putter. The look of the BB56 is different to that of a traditional mallet style and with a higher COG, the ball will promote a quicker end over roll off the putter face and feel more solid at impact. Weighing 350g, the head is made from 6061 Aluminium and 303 Stainless Steel.

All BB Series putters come in 33”- 35”length options. The BB1 and BB29 features 70º lie and 3º loft with a 1/2 toe hang; the BB39 comes in 70º lie, 3º loft and 1/8 toe hang; and the BB56 includes 70º lie, 2º loft and 1/8 toe hang. The BB1 and BB56 are also available in left handed models.

Following on from the successful 3.0 model, the new iNOVAi 5.0 fuses motion science with detailed craftsmanship that connects the 303 Stainless Steel piece in the rear of the putter, to the 6061 Military Grade Aluminium to create a full circle offering more resistance to twisting and turning. The result is a striking putter that is extremely stable throughout the putting stroke.

Featuring the patented F.I.T (Feel Impact Technology) Face that eliminates the need for an insert thanks to the Bettinardi milling process, the high MOI mallet features a soft feel at impact with a topline alignment aid and two lines on the brushed Stainless Steel.

The iNOVAi 5.0 is available right-handed in standard and centre-shafted options with a 70º lie, 2º loft and 1/8 toe hang, along with a black and red deep-etched Lamkin grip corded grip in standard or jumbo size.

Studio Stock Series and Queen B

Continuing into 2018, the Studio Stock Series and Queen B models were big favourites across many categories last year.

Given a seal of approval by multiple PGA Tour winner and brand ambassador Matt Kuchar, the Studio Stock models (SS3, SS8 and SS28) made from Soft Carbon Steel feature a Mercury Grey finish providing a confidence-inspiring look at address. All three models incorporate the brand’s F.I.T Face milling.

The Queen B Series was the UK’s best-seller last year and features the exclusive Bettinardi Micro Honeycomb Face milling, allowing for a muted, yet crisp feel at impact for players looking for constant speed and feel.

Designed to combine performance with stunning looks, the QB8 and QB9 feature swarming bees milled onto the Satin Silver Sole, with the look finished by an eye-catching white and gold Lamkin grip.

Bettinardi Golf – Latest headcover design adds colour to an already striking collection

November 9, 2017 – Bettinardi Golf, the premium putter brand well known for its colourful headcovers, launched its 1,750th customised headcover recently to celebrate Halloween.

The milestone ‘Betti-O-lantern’ glows in the dark and adds even more colour to a striking collection of headcovers that includes many limited editions to match golfing events or special occasions.

“We’ve designed some eye-catching headcovers over our 18 years in the business and this special milestone number happened to fall on Halloween, so we had to commemorate it somehow,” said Sam Bettinardi, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Our designers came up with the great idea of having it glow in the dark to add to the spooky feel,” he added.

The first headcover was launched in 1999 to go with six introductory models – the Bettinardi BB1, BB1MS, BB2SS, BB8, BB10 and BB12. The plain black design was very different to eye-catching models of today, but Bettinardi went straight to the PGA Tour circuit to spread the word and the first stop came at the Greater Greensboro Open.

During that week, Jesper Parnevik picked up a BB10 model on the putting green and went on to set a tournament scoring record of 265 (-23), backed by just 99 putts.

Since then, the designs have been made more colourful and special models have been commissioned for every Major and Ryder Cup. “We enjoy creating them and adding our own take on where the next Major is held,” said Sam. “We have some of the best designers in the business who come up with great concepts that appeal to golfers of all ages.

“Now we have the option of our UPatch custom headcovers that can be created by adding Velcro patches placed anywhere on the specially created fabric,” he added.

The complex designs and attention to detail matches the design process of the putters that are hand-crafted from one piece of high-quality milled carbon steel using hi-tech CNC milling technology at the brand’s state-of-the-art factory just outside Chicago.

BETTINARDI GOLF NEW PUTTERS

Studio Stock

Bettinardi-Studio-Stock

The new 2015 Studio Stock putters are milled from a soft carbon steel, and feature Bettinardi’s new SuperFly mill face. This tour-inspired face milling promotes a crisper and responsive feel. “We want to give our consumers face milling options when it comes to selecting a putter,” Bettinardi said. “We received great feedback from top talent on the PGA Tour in regards to this SuperFly mill face. We believe this milling style now belongs in the hands of all golfers.”

The Studio Stock 2 showcase a classic BB-8 style head, which has been a choice of many on the PGA Tour. Raised shoulders and flattened bumpers provide great weight displacement for superior balance and stability on this winning blade design.

The Studio Stock 16 is a faced balanced mallet that has been crafted with a custom radius tool to ensure ideal perimeter weighting. This unique tool helps get the ball rolling true, even when not struck directly in the sweet spot. Both Studio Stock models will feature a stunning new, durable Olympic Bronze PVD finish.

Queen B

Bettinardi-Queen-Bee

The new 2015 Queen B line features the latest evolution of Bettinardi’s trademarked micro Honeycomb face milling. The Queen B Model 6 is a wide body, face-balanced blade that sets up impeccably square time after time. The Queen B Model 7 has a ridge milled neck that gently flows into a compact mallet. Unlike most mallets, this putter has a slight toe hang that promotes an inside to inside stroke.

Both Queen B models are complemented by their astounding Savannah Blue PVD finish. “By far, the Savannah Blue PVD finish turned out better than we thought. The soft lavender and blue palette will be the envy of any foursome.”

Signature Series

Bettinardi-Signature

The Signature Series line is directly from Robert Bettinardi’s personal preference in design and performance. “Every year we release two new models on a limited basis that highlight the best that Bettinardi Golf has to offer,” Bettinardi said. “The Signature Model 9 is milled with our tour-inspired SuperFly mill face and this putter will prove itself worthy of any and every bag.”

The Signature Series 10 was created to be the crown jewel of 2015. The blade style look with a two-tiered muscle and high toe produces a deeper face, which allows the ball to match perfectly with the sweet spot. The classic Bettinardi Honeycomb pattern milled into the face, sets this putter apart from all other models. Sculpted out of the finest 303 stainless steel, these putters proudly feature Robert J. Bettinardi’s signature of approval.

Kuchar Model 2

Bettinardi-Kuchar-2

The Kuchar Model 2HM has been modified to feature the half-moon cutout for 2015, and is available in both arm lock and standard models. This truly unique design will gain momentum as the 2016 anchoring ban is quickly approaching. Matt Kuchar and Robert Bettinardi teamed up to design the first centre shafted arm lock putter. This model features the FIT Face technology and has zero offset while still maintaining the optimum seven degrees of loft necessary for an arm lock putter to be effective.

“Matt approached me at the 2014 Masters with a standard length version of this putter in hand, and asked how we could make this without the extreme offset,” said Sam Bettinardi, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Eliminating the extreme offset of the Kuchar Model 2 will allow for a traditional look at address, which will entice more users to try arm lock style putting.”

Inovai

Bettinardi-Inovai

The Inovai is a brand new design for Bettinardi Golf in 2015, and is available in both counterbalance and standard models. Years of research and development within the Bettinardi workshop have culminated in this truly forgiving masterpiece. The putter is milled from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, and includes a milled stainless steel weight strategically placed low and away from the face. “From the look at address, the Inovai is one of the most pleasing MOI mallets on the market,” said Robert Bettinardi.“Once you hit a ball with the Inovai, you will be hard-pressed to pick a different gamer in 2015.”

The FIT (Feel Impact Technology) Face was applied to make this the softest and most responsive feel on an aluminum putter head. The white alignment lines and stainless steel weight create the perfect contrast to the satin black finish. The above features allow for easy alignment, making it truly innovative.
