LIV Golf – Swannies Golf announced as official on-course apparel partner of RangeGoats GC

January 23, 2025 – RangeGoats Golf Club has announced a team partnership deal with Swannies Golf. The sponsorship will see the popular golf clothing brand become the official on-course apparel partner of Bubba Watson’s LIV Golf team.

The multi-year partnership will bring a fresh new feel to the RangeGoats, with the team starting the season with five new custom team polos that are also available for fans to purchase online and on-site at LIV Golf events.  Additional designs and products will be released as the season progresses.

“Swannies and the RangeGoats coming together feels like a natural fit,” says Bubba Watson,  Captain of RangeGoats Golf Club. “Both sides are passionate about golf and making the game fun and inviting. Working on the first round of custom polo designs with them was special and it means a lot to know that, for the first time, fans can also buy the same gear we wear on the course.”

Since 2015, Swannies Golf has taken a laid-back approach to the golf apparel industry, aiming to make golf fun by properly representing the community of the everyday golfer. One golf shop at a time, the brand has grown into a collection of fun and affordable styles. As of early 2025, over 2,500 stores carry the brand throughout the United States and Canada. Swannies is now a go-to modern brand for golfers who want to look and feel good while playing the game they love.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about entering this partnership with such an incredible group of players,” says Co-Founder of Swannies Golf, Adam Iversen. “The RangeGoats team embodies the Swannies ethos – a lighthearted and fun approach to the game. We’re eager to join Captain Bubba Watson and help build a strong community around the team.”

Already one of the league’s most-marketable team brands, Watson’s goal at the outset was to build a brand that resonated with the golfer in all of us.

“With Swannies, we found an apparel partner that produces high quality affordable gear that our fans can wear on the golf course, in the office, or out to dinner,” says RangeGoats Team General Manager Randall Wells. “And, to top it off they share our passion for having a little fun along the way. The new RangeGoats line is just the start, we will have more new electrifying offerings in the future.”

Embracing the LIV Golf League team model, Watson and Wells were active once again during the offseason having recently signed last year’s LIV Golf reserve and International Series star Ben Campbell to a full-time roster spot. The RangeGoats will aim to kick off the season in style at LIV Golf Riyadh and LIV Golf Adelaide in February.

PING – A ‘lifetime’ contract for Bubba Watson

November, 2020 – PING announced today that two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson has signed a “lifetime” contract to represent the company. Terms of the agreement were not released, but PING confirmed the contract extends the relationship well past Watson’s expected PGA Tour career.

“We’re extremely excited to make this announcement,” said John K. Solheim, PING President. “We understand it is unique in the sports endorsement world, but so is Bubba. He’s done a lot for PING over his amazing career and we felt the time was right to make this commitment to him. His skill level and creativity on the golf course have defined his career, but his generosity and compassion are what make him a great fit for PING. He’s like family to us and we’re very happy he’ll be with us for the rest of his golf career.”

Watson, who is celebrating his 42nd birthday this week, is preparing for his 12th Masters and coming off top-10 finishes in his last two events since switching to the new PING G425 driver and 3-wood.

“I’ve been playing PING equipment since I was a kid,” said Bubba Watson. “So basically, my whole life. I love the company and truly believe PING is committed to making the best equipment. I can’t thank the Solheim family enough for their support during my career. PING and the Solheim family have played a huge role in my golf career and my life. I’m very grateful they’ve put their faith in me to represent them for the rest of my career.”

Watson, whose first putter was a PING B60, has played PING clubs continuously since receiving a junior set of PING irons as an 8-year-old. He was first brought to PING’s attention by the late Billy Weir, PING’s longtime sales representative in Georgia and North Florida. A lifetime honorary member of the Georgia Section PGA, Weir retired in Watson’s hometown, where he frequently played golf with a young Watson.

As he watched Watson begin winning junior events around the Florida Panhandle, he saw something special in the long-hitting left-hander. He passed his observations on to PING Chairman & CEO John A. Solheim, who also was intrigued by Bubba’s game and encouraged Weir to provide the allowable support to help Bubba further develop his game.

“I remember my great friend Billy Weir telling me about Bubba and how he had a gift to play the game like few he’d ever seen. He was not only a long hitter, he played with creativity and passion,” John A. Solheim said.

“He really stood out. I first met him when he was 13 and we’ve since developed a very close friendship. He reminds me of my father Karsten in a lot of ways. Bubba is a very creative thinker who does things his own way – especially in the way he thinks about marketing. His idea to play a pink shaft and pink clubhead is just one example of his creativity, which led to us partnering with him in raising more than $250,000 for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.”

Watson played two years at Faulkner State Community College and two years at the University of Georgia before turning professional in 2001. He signed his first contract with PING shortly after turning professional and went on to play the Nationwide Tour (Korn Ferry today) before earning his PGA Tour card at the end of 2005. During his 14-year PGA Tour career he’s won 12 times, including two Masters titles, and he has led the PGA Tour driving distance statistic five times.

“I remember signing my first contract with PING and thinking how blessed I was to be representing such an amazing company that treated me like family,” Bubba Watson said.

“Without PING’s support I do not know if I would have achieved my dream of playing golf for a living. I’m proud to have the PING name on my bag when I’m competing on the PGA Tour. Like I said when I won my first Masters, ‘I never got this far in my dreams.’ Being with PING for the rest of my career makes it even more special.”

G/FORE – In cruise control with the return of Bubba Watson to the way of victory

March 1, 2018 – G/FORE is stepping into new horizons with its latest collection as Bubba Watson strolled back to winning ways. The Californian brand – which was recently acquired by Peter Millar – has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 range with some exciting new additions.

But brand ambassador Watson put his best foot forward in the Hightop Disruptor as he claimed the Genesis Open in style recently at Riviera for his first PGA Tour title in two years.

In keeping with the brand’s Disruptive Luxury theme, the striking shoe is part of the G/FORE 2018 Spring/Summer collection with its athletic casual look with waterproof, full grain leather.

The subtle step change in the footwear range has continued with an updated version of the Cruiser. Inspired by the traditional loafer, it incorporates an athletic fit and an ultra-lightweight sole. With a new, washable and anti-microbial, triple density foam cushion Ortholite sock liner for superior comfort, it’s a shoe which translates perfectly to the clubhouse after the round.

Also new to the party is the Patriot Disruptor, which fuses street fashion with the golf shoe but combines superior comfort with simple, elegant style. Designed with all the same premium outsole details optimising traction, flexibility and support, the full grain leather creates a casual, yet fully waterproof look.

Founder of G/FORE, Mossimo Giannulli, said: “It was fantastic to see Bubba win his 10th PGA Tour title in G/FORE shoes. He’s a unique talent who bucks the norm and brings an exciting dimension to golf.

“He epitomises what we try to achieve with the G/FORE brand in adding some colour and personality to golf and beyond.”

Aside from the colourful, premium-quality gloves, which continue to earn plaudits and ensured Watson keep a strong grip on the title, the broad apparel range adds a bright new dimension to the fairway, the clubhouse and beyond.

In the men’s range, the Collection tipped polos and the Collection Essential both offer a wide variety of looks to transfer effortlessly from the golf course to a more casual setting.

For those who wish to inject some real personality into their fashion, the Rosebud Polo and its floral print will catch the attention while the Camo Midlayer adds a subtle, yet fashion-slanted edge when an extra layer is required.

G/FORE has also retained its trademark humour with a casual T-shirt with the slogan “No 1 cares what you shot” – which is ideal to worn when faced by imminent approach of a golf bore.

Meanwhile, G/FORE’s broad range of accessories also now has even more variety. The Varsity Snapback and Classic Fore Play hats are brimming with style and will complement any outfit.

Giannulli added: “At G/FORE, we aim to help someone express their own individuality and style, rather than conforming to the norm and the spring/summer 2018 collection is an extension of that.

“The recent deal with Peter Millar means it’s a progressive time for the brand to develop as we move into an exciting new chapter.”

Volvik – Bubba Watson goes green at Augusta with Volvik golf balls

April 3, 2017 – Bubba Watson will add even more colour to this week’s Masters as he’s set to play a Green Volvik S4 golf ball at a Major for the first time.

The two-time Masters champion signed a multi-year agreement on New Year’s day with Volvik, the brand leader in multi-coloured performance golf balls based in South Korea. As part of the deal, Bubba can decide whether to play with a Green, Pink and White ball on any day of his choice.

So far this year, he has played largely with the Pink version of the premium-priced ball on the PGA Tour. But Volvik has now confirmed that he will play a Green ball at some stage during the Masters tournament in an attempt to win a third green jacket.

While playing the Volvik S4 ball this season, Bubba has a driving average of more than 305 yards with a swing speed of 120.9 mph. The four-piece ball features the world’s first patented dual core within its ‘Tour Urethane’ cover for extreme accuracy and optimal spin rate.

“The profile of Bubba playing the Green Volvik S4 coloured ball at Augusta will be massive for the Volvik brand and we anticipate a lot of interest in our colourful range of performance balls from golfers of all abilities across Europe,” said Jason Stewart, Volvik’s European Manager.

Among them are the spectacular Volvik Vivid range, the world’s first matte-finish coloured golf ball. This 3-piece ball provides longer distance for golfers with slower swing speeds looking for softer feel and consistent flight. It comes in Red, Orange, Pink, Green, Lime, Blue and White.

Volvik – Bubba Watson starts playing different colour golf balls on PGA Tour

January 9, 2017 – Volvik has announced that Bubba Watson has officially signed a multi-year deal to play and endorse the company’s line of extreme performance golf balls. Watson is set to choose from three different colour Volvik golf balls, starting with their pink, pearl blue/white and green versions of their S4 4-piece, 105-compression golf ball.

“I was naturally intrigued by the colours Volvik offers,” said Bubba Watson. “Then I started testing the ball and saw what I could do with it. It does everything I want it to: go high, go low, curve, spin and it has the distance I’m looking for”.

“I’m always trying to find new ways to grow the game and have fun out there and Volvik’s approach is the same. I couldn’t be more excited to have a colourful start to the year with Volvik!”

His first time playing a Volvik golf ball in an official PGA Tour event has been from Thursday’s first round of the SBS Tournament of Champions, an event he qualified for by winning the 2016 Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club last February.

“Bubba Watson is a world-class player and champion of our sport, a top 10 player in the world that has an extraordinary appeal that attracts a huge fan base,” said Volvik USA President Don Shin.

“His choice to represent Volvik on the PGA Tour is the biggest news in our 36-year history of manufacturing and selling golf balls. This signing validates our position as world leaders in golf ball innovation at the very highest level, but it is also equally exciting for golf in general as we feel expanding colours onto the PGA Tour will help grow the game in new and exciting ways.”

“I feel it will lead to a new future for the game to have such a charismatic, talented and extremely long hitting ambassador on Team Volvik hitting different colour golf balls on the world’s biggest stage.”

Bubba Watson‘s impressive career includes two major championships (2012 and 2014 Masters) and nine total PGA Tour victories. He’s also a three-time Ryder cup member and a two-time Presidents Cup team member, winning the event in 2011.

Watson is among the longest drivers on the PGA Tour. In 2016, he posted an average drive of 310.6 yards, ranking him 4th in driving distance on the PGA Tour. Watson is capable of generating ball speed up to 195 mph, making him the perfect fit for Volvik’s 105-compression S4, one of the few available balls in golf with that high of a compression.

“We had a special new shade of pink made up just for Bubba in our S4 golf ball,” said National Director of Sales and Marketing for Volvik USA Jon Claffey.

As he made it into play at the Tournament of Champions, has been the first time a pink golf ball has ever been put into play in PGA Tour history.

“It has been USGA approved and is currently in production to bring in to sell to the consumer. The green S4 he has requested should be ready by the Waste Management Phoenix Open.”

Bubba Watson will be featured in Volvik’s print, digital, broadcast and social marketing globally as a Volvik staff player and ambassador. He will also wear the Volvik logo on his right sleeve during all golf related events. Volvik expects Watson to be extremely active in helping to plan and implement the company’s marketing strategies.

Watson is joining a professional staff that has had significant success on their respective professional tours. Volvik has experienced more colour golf balls in play on the world’s professional tours than any other manufacturer in the history of golf with over 900 instances of different colour golf balls being put into play with five different colours.

Volvik is one of the most played golf ball manufacturers on the LPGA Tour over the past four seasons. Their staff players have won three LPGA Tour events with different colours, including the first and second ever orange golf ball victories in the history of the LPGA Tour.

Volvik is no stranger to the PGA Tour, as they have been in play in 29 different PGA Tour events by staff player Tim Petrovic over the past three seasons. Petrovic earned a runner-up finish on the PGA Tour with a Volvik ball in 2015 after losing in a playoff at the Puerto Rico Open. Petrovic will continue to play orange and yellow Volvik golf balls on both the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour in 2017.

#MyGolfGuay – Watson wishes Happy Christmas with “Bubba Claus” carol… see this VIDEO

Bubba-The-Single

December 18, 2014 – In time for Christmas, Bubba Watson has sent greetings to his fans just for fun, and has become “Bubba Claus” to produce his first Single. And it’s got everything in it his fans could expect from him.

The 36-years old professional gives us his version of what should be the modern Santa Claus, and instead of a reindeer-drawn sleigh, he rides the Oakley hovercraft accompanied by an elf and Gumby, and then climbs on the hood of a buggy as he alludes to his golf bag.

What d’you think, eh?

Ping – The arsenal of Bubba Watson to win the WGC-HSBC Champions

Bubba-Watson-HSBC-1

November 10, 2014 –Two moments of magic on Sheshan International’s 18th hole saw Bubba Watson win the WGC-HSBC Champions after a play-off with Tim Clark on a dramatic final day in Shanghai.

Ping staff player was two shots clear with three holes to play, only to bogey the 16th and run up a double bogey on the 17th after failing to escape a greenside bunker at the first attempt. That dropped the Masters Tournament champion one shot behind playing partners Clark and Rickie Fowler, as well as the final group of Graeme McDowell, Hiroshi Iwata and Martin Kaymer.

Clark looked in pole position when he hit his third shot to the par five 18th to four feet and saw Fowler find the water and Watson a greenside bunker. However, Watson then amazingly holed his bunker shot for an eagle and Clark’s birdie was only good enough to leave the pair tied on 11 under, with the final group needing to birdie the last to join the play-off.

Clark and Watson returned to the 18th for the play-off and Watson found the same greenside bunker with his second shot after Clarke had hit his third to around 20 feet. Watson was unable to repeat his heroics from the sand but after Clark had left his birdie attempt short, the left-hander holed his birdie putt to seal victory.

“For me this is the big one,”Bubba Watson said after his third win in 2014. “It’s very big because I always wanted to win outside the US. It’s my seventh win, gets me closer to ten wins which has always been my goal. It’s a World Golf Championship, so when you add it all up it means a lot.”

Speaking about the 72nd hole, the 36 year old added: “It was such a tough bunker shot you are not really thinking about making it, but I told my caddie it’s been a wild day, a wild couple of holes, but if we can make this it changes everything and it went in like a putt. Clark was like ‘Why would you do that?!’

“In the play-off, it was funny because the bunker shot I holed was on the same line (as the putt) so we knew the line, we knew it was fast. I was trying to two-putt and it just fell in.”
