January 10, 2014 – The Terramar Golf Club in Sitges (Barcelona, Spain), will host the European Challenge for Wheelchair Golfers 2014 on the 8th and 9th of April. This is an international tournament aimed at golfers with SCI who have to play golf in wheelchairs or similar devices.

The competition is organized by Sebastian Lorente, one of the Spanish adapted golf veterans with extensive experience in national and international tournaments. Amongst his golf achievements we should mention his victory at the 2010 European Championship of Wheelchair Golf and the runner-up in the European Adapted Golf Team (Nations Cup) in 2011, as part of the Spanish team. More recently he won the 2013 Austria Wheelchair Trophy .
