February 8, 2013 – This week, TaylorMade Golf kicks off its One Bucket campaign for the RocketBladez irons, supported on the European Tour at the Joburg Open, South Africa, and also on PGA Tour at AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-am.

Golfers who try TaylorMade’s new RocketBladez irons at participating golf courses and driving ranges will get a free bucket of practice balls, because the company believes that just one bucket is all it will take to demonstrate the performance benefits of RocketBladez and convince golfers to put this remarkable new iron in their bag.

The One Bucket Challenge was inspired by how fast TaylorMade Tour staff pros switched into the RocketBladez Tour irons. Whereas changing irons for a Tour pro can often be a lengthy process requiring extensive trial, TaylorMade’s Tour staff have been putting RocketBladez in play very quickly because the performance benefits are so clearly apparent. Two TaylorMade Tour professionals have already won using RocketBladez Tour irons – Sergio Garcia at the Iskandar Johor Open and Dustin Johnson at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions on the PGA Tour.

Hierro RocktBladez de TaylorMade Golf.RocketBladez and RocketBladez Tour irons both incorporate a performance-enhancing feature called the Speed Pocket in the 3 iron through to the 7 iron, which is engineered to increase the speed of the clubface to promote higher launch and a stronger ball flight. At the same time, the Speed Pocket increases the area on the clubface that delivers high ball speed, promoting consistent distance from shot to shot. RocketBladez Tour irons, engineered with a more compact head, thinner topline and thinner sole, are the first distance-oriented iron to be played on Tour.

RocketBladez irons are available now, and to find your local TaylorMade retailer go to: www.taylormadegolf.com.
