Golf Pride – Winner of the grip count at the 2017 Open Championship

July 28, 2017 – Eaton has announced that its Golf Pride Grips Division was the most used swing and putter grip brand played at the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, in Southport, England.

The #1 Grip in Golf claimed eight of the top 10 finishers. In all, 129 players competing at the season’s third Major trusted their games to Golf Pride grips. Of the players who relied on Golf Pride, 43 played the brand’s flagship MCC family of grips.

Golf Pride – Most Trusted Grip Brand at 2017 PLAYERS Championship

May 17, 2017 – Eaton has announced that its Golf Pride Grips Division was the most used swing and putter grip brand at the 2017 PLAYERS Championship. By the numbers, 118 of 145 players (81%) in the tournament field trusted their games to Golf Pride swing grips.

Golf Pride was the preferred grip of the event’s top players with 25 of the Top 30 finishers choosing its grips. Throughout the tournament, the winner relied on the brand’s popular MCC model grips. January 27, 2017 – Eaton has announced that its Golf Pride Grips Division, an industry leader in innovation, is introducing a groundbreaking new grip technology that delivers a new level of consistency in golfers’ games unlike anything before. For the first time ever, the new ALIGN Technology features a dedicated raised ridge that extends down the back of the grip for consistent hand placement allowing the golfer to feel alignment.

The patented ALIGN Technology is featured in the MCC family in both the traditional MCC taper profile and MCC Plus4’s larger lower hand profile.  The #1 Hybrid Grip on Tour combining cord and rubber for all-weather performance now has a tactile innovation that locks the hands into a consistent grip every time.

MCC ALIGN and MCC Plus4 ALIGN activates upon installation with a dedicated raised ridge on the back of the grip allowing for consistent hand placement and an enhanced ability to square the clubface at impact each and every time. ALIGN Technology also features a unique micro-diamond texture and 50% firmer material compared to the surrounding grip area to amplify its pronounced feel. Golf Pride – Tour inspiration to develop a new performance with the MCC Plus4

January 29, 2015 – Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton has announced tthatits Golf Pride grips division will grow its MCC (New Decade MultiCompound) family, the #1 hybrid grip on Tour, with the introduction of the new MCC Plus4. The MCC Plus4 takes the same great upper hand and lower hand design, first utilized in the original MCC grip, and combines it with new technologies designed to provide golfers more power and confidence from tee-to-green.

With 80 percent of global Tour players trusting Golf Pride, nobody knows their grip preferences better. MCC Plus4 was designed to meet the needs of the 70% and more of Tour players who build up their grips to reduce tension in their hands. With less tension comes more power.

Golf Pride is now offering this performance preference to all golfers.  The new MCC Plus4 is designed to have a larger lower half that matches the feel of 4-layers of extra tape build up preferred by many Tour players. The slightly less tapered shape has a 4.6% larger outside diameter in the lower hand, compared to the original MCC, to encourage lighter grip pressure which can help increase swing power.  Furthermore, MCC Plus4 utilizes a proprietary new soft compound in the lower hand to enhance feel.

The upper half of the MCC Plus4 offers distinctively different performance advantages for that hand.
