Fujikura Golf – Advanced design and advanced performance, introducing the all-new 2024 PRO Series

September 23, 2024 – Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, is proud to announce the all-new 2024 PRO Series of wood shafts that will be available at charter detailers from September 23rd.

The new PRO Series features Advanced Bend Profile Design (ABP) – A technology led by fitter feedback and proven through ongoing enso analytics. ABP targets specific locations within a section of the shaft to substantially alter stiffness, independent of that section’s overall bend profile.

In the same way Fujikura directly targeted torque and twist within certain sections of VENTUS TR, ABP takes the same approach with varying bending stiffness. By addressing stiffness in such specific and precise locations, performance can be shaped and enhanced by amplifying the overall feel, stability, and playability of the shaft.

The new PRO Series also combines premium, lower resin content materials and accelerated taper, building on Fujikura’s established and proven product history of custom bend profiles. There are two launch profiles within the 2024 PRO Series:

PRO Blue – A mid launch/mid-low spin option suited for a wide-range of player types and swing speeds offering increased launch without excess spin and a smooth overall feel.

PRO Black – A low launch/low spin option that maintains the same weight and ABP profile as PRO Blue in a stouter configuration.

Providing golfers with outstanding feel and ball speed increases, the PRO series showcases several of its unique performance benefits from analytics and research derived from the successful VENTUS line.

Positioned between the Vista Pro and VENTUS lines, the PRO line has historically been a favorite of club fitters offering a versatile series of options for drivers and fairway woods in a wide range of weights and flexes. Its RRP is $225.

“We are hugely excited about the possibilities opened up by ABP,” said Spencer Reynolds, Fujikura Product and Brand Manager. “The new PRO Series will give custom fitters two excellent performance- driven options, and we’re looking forward to the benefits that this series of shafts will bring to players of all skill levels.”

For over 25 years, Fujikura Composites America has been at the forefront of design and development, on a mission to produce the world’s best performance golf shafts. The company strives to deliver enjoyment to golfers by crafting the most desirable products and offering the highest levels of service and support.

Using proprietary technology through design and construction, Fujikura shafts set an industry benchmark and are the go-to choice for many of the world’s leading players across all professional tours.

Golf Shafts – New Fujikura VENTUS for metalwoods in 2024, the ultimate consistency upgrade

January 23, 2024 – Fujikura, leader in performance golf shafts, has announced the all-new VENTUS shaft, available globally at charter dealers from February 29, 2024.

Featuring an enhanced technology platform combined with advanced design techniques, the new VENTUS is the ultimate evolution to one of the best performing shafts in Fujikura’s history.

Following the unrivalled Tour success that began with VENTUS in 2018, the 2024 VENTUS is a mid- launch/low spin wood shaft that has been re-engineered with updated materials and technology for improved feel, consistency and speed for all golfers.

VENTUS has been known as the most stable and consistent metalwood shaft in golf since its introduction, and this new VENTUS builds on that performance foundation.

VELOCORE, Fujikura’s ground-breaking shaft stability technology introduced in 2018 with VENTUS and subsequent products including VENTUS TR and AXIOM iron shafts, helps deliver exceptional club stability through transition and impact. The technology promotes consistent center-face contact, tightening dispersion and increasing control. Fujikura Golf – Expansion of the Tour Proven PRO Shaft Series with the new PRO60

Fujikura-PRO60-M1-shaft

October 18, 2015 – Fujikura Golf, recognized for developing and manufacturing the World’s Best Performance Golf Shafts, has announced that the company has added a new shaft model to the widely popular PRO Shaft Series – the PRO60 Shaft.

“The new Fujikura PRO60 Shaft is a great line extension as it adds a higher launch profile to the PRO Series Shaft line-up,” said Fujikura Marketing Manager Stephanie Hartgraves.

The Fujikura PRO60 Shaft is the latest addition to the Fujikura PRO Series, a tour proven line of shafts played by dozens of PGA Professionals to capture victories, Top-5 and Top-10 finishes. The Fujikura team of engineers used Fujikura’s proprietary enso technology to develop these high performance shafts which maximize the energy transfer from the golfer to the club head at impact.

The enso technology allowed the engineers to employ different benefits to different types of golfers depending on their swing type. The Fujikura PRO53, PRO63, and PRO73 are developed for golfers who want a mid-launch with low spin. The Fujikura PRO73 Tour Spec is designed for a golfer with a stronger swing who can benefit from a low to mid launch with low spin. The new Fujikura PRO60 delivers a higher launch for a higher trajectory which results in increased ball flight and distance.

The new Fujikura PRO60 is a shaft option for the new TaylorMade M1 Driver. The company required certain shaft specification to maximize the performance of their highly engineered head. The design goal was to deliver more speed, high launch, low spin and increased ball speed so the new PRO60 was the perfect choice to meet these key characteristics.

“This collaboration with TaylorMade is a direct result from the PRO Series success on the PGA Tour as well as from Fujikura’s longtime association with the TaylorMade Tour Preferred products,” added Stephanie Hartgraves.

Fujikura-PRO60

The Fujikura PRO60 as well as the entire line of the Fujikura PRO Series is manufactured with Fujikura’s proprietary H.I.T. Technology, (High Inertia Tip), with Maximum Carbon Fiber Content material and Cage construction for stability throughout the swing to provide more accurate shots. A custom bending profile creates a stiffened mid and tip section with more forgiveness in the handle section.

Fujikura Golf – Snedeker used Fujikura Speeder 661 X in his winner driver

Brandt-Snedeker-1

February 19, 2015 – Another weekend of around the world golf champions with one thing in common. Fujikura golf shafts have been the secret weapon of professional golfers for decades, so it wasn’t surprising to see the PGA AT&T Pebble Beach champion, Brandt Snedeker, and European Tour True Thailand Classic winner, Andrew Dodt, both using Fujikura shafts.

There was quite the conversation sparked when Golf Digest Magazine published the headline “Winners Bag: Brandt Snedeker just won at Pebble Beach using a driver worth $20”. Conversations remained very active throughout the weekend and all day Monday while passionate golfers took the opportunity to chime in on the subject. Many supported the fact that good players can play almost any piece of equipment and still live up to the expectations of fans. But, there was more conversation than ever before surrounding how important the shaft is to the performance of the golf club.

Fujikura golf shafts have been the trusted and preferred golf shaft amongst the better players for decades. In this instance, Brandt Snedeker was using a Fujikura Speeder 661 X flex in his TaylorMade SuperFast driver.

“We’re thrilled by these wins because these professionals continue to demonstrate their confidence in Fujikura shafts to perform in premier events,” says Stephanie Hartgraves, Marketing Manager of Fujikura. “It’s so exciting to see these talented players depend on us and the advanced technology, materials and designs we work so hard on day in and day out.”

“This is another excellent week for our brand and team,” says David Schnider, President/COO of Fujikura. “These accomplishments help validate our mission, which is and always has been to simply create superior performance golf shafts.”

The new Speeder series is all about increasing ball speed, which in return increases distance. In a competitive scenario, a couple MPH, a couple more yards and some enhanced accuracy can mean win the game.

Fujikura Golf – The 2015 shaft product line, including the Speeder Evolution

Fujikura-Speeder-Evolution

January 31, 2015 – Fujikura golf shafts have been among the most trending conversations with the debut of their 2015 product offering at the PGA Merchandise Show of Orlando, Florida (U.S.). In fact, the newest global release from Fujikura Japan, the Speeder Evolution, is already being played by 22 players on Tour. Additionally, in the Open tournament 2 weeks ago at PGA Tour, there were an astonishing 72 Speeder shafts put into play according to the Darrell Surveys count. That count is Speeders only and does not include the other models such as the PRO and Fuel shafts which have claimed many wins.

Also in Tour news, the winner of the Qatar Masters used Fujikura Fuel 75x in his Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond (8.5 loft) and Fujikura PRO 73x in his Big Bertha V Series three metal. The champion has averaged 308 yards per drive this year.

Fujikura golf shafts are getting some long overdue credit for their performance and fitting heritage now as golfers seek more credible promises from equipment manufacturers. Consumers are relying on trial more than ever and have really embraced a “seeing is believing” mindset as part of their pre-purchase behaviour.

Fujikura has always maintained a reputation of fitting shafts to unique swing characteristics as their foundation to making the world’s best performance golf shafts.

Alex Dee, Vice President of Fujikura explains: “Fujikura employs advanced technologies and analytics to enrich knowledge in this field. Our Enso system is at the heart of Fujikura shaft design and development. Enso allows us to measure the shaft’s dynamic performance and effect on the club head orientations, position, and velocities with incredible accuracy. With systems at our US and Tokyo offices, the knowledge we gain on a daily basis with Enso enables Fujikura to validate new design concepts and enhances our ability to fit golfers to the optimal Fujikura shaft.”

Fujikura’s commitment to fitting and making shafts that optimize the performance of the entire club has resulted in an astonishing statistic that Fujikura can claim after years of measuring their commitment to excellence. 99.6% of all golfers who are fitted with a Fujikura custom shaft to instantly gain an average of 13.5 yards.

As a result, the Fujikura Speeder Evolution has been a highly anticipated release among equipment experts in online and offline conversations. The new Speeder Evolution has increased the overall club performance by increasing the club head speed, which in turn has increased the ball speed, resulting in measurable distance increases combined with the un-matched accuracy that Fujikura shafts always provide in every shaft they make.
