October 12, 2015 – Lumine Golf has been confirmed again as the venue for the final event of the 2015 Volvik Long Drivers European Tour season, The Masters LDET Cup. The championship will take place next 27 and 28 November and will be the last time of the season to see the bombers; Maurice Allen (USA, current #1 of the ranking), Frederik Frost (Denmark), Mauro Benaglio (Switzerland), Scott Beaven (England) and Dewald Lubbe (SAF) among others will compete for one of the most coveted titles in the world of long driving.

This will be the second time that hosts a long drive competition. “It is a great honor for Lumine Golf to hold again the finals this season. We still have fresh memories of last year’s edition, and expectations suggest that we will surpass what we had last season. I am convinced it will be a great success for all”, commented Calle Carlsson, General Manager of the Troon managed resort.

The France LDET Championship, cancelled

In other way, the Volvik Long Drivers European Tour has decided that the France LDET Championship, from 16^th to 17^th of October, has been canceled. The golf course is almost destroyed due the devastating storm last weekend in Mandelie La Napoule & Cannes.

The damages are spectacular; if you have seen the news, in that area there are many buildings, shopping centers, parkings, places, cars… all destroyed.
