July 6, 2015 – In recognition of the upcoming 144th Open Championship at St Andrews, The Home of Golf, from 16th to 19th of July, adidas Golf  have announced the release of limited editions of both the adipower boost and adicross IV models of footwear.

There will be 144 pairs of both shoes, available soon via www.adidas.com platform. The plaid design on the footwear pays tribute to country in which golf began as The Open Championship returns to St Andrews for its quinquennial visit.

ADIPOWER BOOST

The adipower boost shoe features adidas’ revolutionary boost technology, providing maximum comfort and energy return. The shoe is also equipped with gripmore cleats, providing greater traction throughout the swing. As well as blue stripes and cleats, the limited edition adipower boost features blue plaid on the upper as well as in the lining of the shoe.

ADICROSS IV

The adicross IV is one adidas’ most popular spikeless shoe options, perfect for the summer months. The limited edition shoe features a full plaid upper, combined with blue detailing on the sole and inner lining.
