adidas Golf – Brandt Snedeker wins Farmers Open wearing the new adidas TOUR360 BOOST
February 3, 2016 – Brandt Snedeker took home the 2016 Farmers Insurance Open title at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego (California, U.S.) after a wind-swept final round.
Wearing the new adidas Golf TOUR360 BOOST, Snedeker was the only player to shoot under par on the last day with an incredible 69, nine shots better than the field average of 77.9. Given the difficult weather conditions all week, it’s clear that the American golfer feels really great playing with them on his feet.
He only received the new adidas Golf shoes at the beginning of January 2016, and he put them into play immediately for the PGA Tour. So far he’s achieved great results with them: 3er at the Hyundai Tournament Championship, 2nd at Sony Open, and now 1st at the Farmers Insurance Open. And all in a period of just three weeks.
In the same event held at Torrey Pines, the second on the leaderboard, the South Korean player K.J. Choi, finished one shot behind Snedeker, also wearing the new TOUR360 BOOST shoes. Other players who are using them on Tour are big names like Sergio García, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day…
We presented these shoes in MyGolfWay.com when they were launched last December. Building on 10 years of innovation, the adidas Golf TOUR360 BOOST incorporates the latest footwear technologies, including full-length BOOST cushioning, an improved 360WRAP, and a dual-density 10-cleat puremotion TPU outsole to deliver the next advancement in the iconic, game-changing TOUR360 franchise.
