XXIO – New XXIO Prime Driver, light, fast and easy swinging for longer distance

December 23, 2014 – In the latest launch of the new XXIO series, number one golf club brand in Japan, which you’ve probably already seen in your golf shop, the XXIO Prime Driver stands out from the rest of golf clubs for its luxurious, lightweight design and its long distance performance.

With the new XXIO Prime Driver, the golfers with lower swing speeds will achieve longer distances and improve their ball flight with no extra effort. But how does it do this? Amongst its key features there is, first of all, a lightweight SP-800 shaft, for a light and fast swing.The XXIO Prime SP-800 shaft features a new Stretch-fill material to strengthen the shaft tip while making it lighter.

The result is a new shaft that delivers a great feel at impact. The grip is also lighter, further reducing the club’s overall weight resulting in a lower swing MOI, producing faster swing speeds for all golfers. All clubs in the series, including the driver, fairway woods, irons, and utility clubs, feature this new technology.

Second, you’ll find a deeper head center of gravity for a better launch.The shallow-back head shape of the XXIO Prime driver inspires confidence at address, allowing golfers to launch the ball easily on the right trajectory to increase distance. The center of gravity has been positioned deeper while maintaining the same height, to deliver a higher launch angle. The shaft has also been made softer than the previous model from the center to the tip, to increase carry distance.

And third, the improved face repulsion performance is the secret of its longer distance. The XXIO Prime Driver features a new enhanced cup face structure. A thinner area around the face and a higher repulsion over the entire face gives improved repulsion performance. The sweet spot has also been increased by 8% compared to the previous model to increase forgiveness on of center hits.
