October 7, 2014 – Fletcher Europe has highlighted that its Sunice 2015 Spring-Summer Collection took the top spot at this year’s Golf Europe Product Awards in Germany. The Sunice Collection received the Product Award for clothing based on its product innovation, functionality, comfort, style and value for money.

Garments submitted for the Awards included The Zachary polo for men and The Dalia polo for women which are both made from X-Static, the Silver Fibre, which delivers an astounding fusion of performance benefits.

The Kern and Princess FlexVent waterproof jackets also impressed with their light weight, stretch, soft feel and quiet performance. This proprietary technology delivers 4-way stretch fabric is 100% waterproof, highly breathable (20,000mm/20,00mvt) and has a 4 year guarantee!

A garment highly praised from the outerwear collection was The Bishop Gore-Tex jacket. Every fabric used in The Bishop was hand selected by the design teams at Gore and Sunice to optimise the performance of the Gore-Tex membrane and deliver Gore’s unique lifetime guarantee. The outer layer is extremely robust and can cope with the wear and tear associated with carrying a golf bag whilst also being extremely lightweight and packable.

Another highlight garment is The Finley gilet, which takes its inspiration from mainstream fashion. It is the perfect example of fashion meeting function and is the first product of its type in golf. Quilted with duck down feathers, this vest is super soft, ultra light weight and very warm. The face fabric is a fine denier yarn which is densely woven to achieve high water repellency and the quality of the denier also provides a luxurious feel. The outer fabric has been treated with WXTECH which reduces wet out by causing water to bead off the vest.
