Ping – Gee Chun wins a Major of Japan LPGA Tour with the G30 LS Tec driver
May 14, 2015 – At age 20, South Korean In Gee Chun already has an impressive list of wins. Relying on a G30 LS Tec Ping driver, plus G30 fairway woods and hybrids, she added to her resumé on Sunday by winning a major on the Japan LPGA Tour at the World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup.
With her four-shot victory at -12, she became the youngest winner in the history of the event; it was her first appearance on the Japan LPGA Tour. She carded rounds of 66-70-67-73 and won the equivalent of approximately $200,000. Her maiden victory on the Korean LPGA Tour was also a major, the 2013 Korea Women’s Open. She has five wins on the KLPGA.
