Peter Millar – The outfit of the five Brand Ambassadors at The Open of Royal Troon
12 Julio 2016 – Peter Millar Brand Ambassador’s Brandt Snedeker, Bill Haas, Harris English, and George Coetzee secured their place in the field earlier this season and Richie Ramsay earned one of the final four spots available with a top twelve finish at The Scottish Open on Sunday.
Brandt Snedeker will be wearing an array of performance sweaters, including the ‘Rockwell’ MF16ES05 and ‘Thomasville’ MF16ES06 in seasonal colors. These sweaters in fashion stripes and color block are all plaited in polyester, making them warm, resilient and slide easily over the first layer garment. His Saturday sweater, the hybrid ‘Conover’ MF16ES11 in midnight, includes soft, windproof microfiber panels that provide additional protection without adding weight. The water repellent finish will be a nice touch as unpredictable as the weather is in Scotland at this time of year.
On Sunday, Harris English will sport flat front pants in Royal Emerald Tartan, a traditional pattern that is a natural fit for the Scotland venue this year.
Haas, Coetzee and Ramsay will all play in performance knits, sweaters and pants that transition well from the heat of summer to the cooler weather, and even passing showers that Scotland experiences in July. The performance blend for the knits and pants provide moisture wicking and quick dry capabilities that are also breathable, even under layers. Check out some of our best colours and patterns in the performance shirts that are sure to be a hit for any golfer, including MF16EK15S ‘Exhibit’ Stripe Stretch Jersey in Cascade Blue which George Coetzee will be wearing on Sunday in an unexpected stripe pattern, or MF16EK02S ‘Competition’ Stripe Stretch Jersey in Glacier, which Bill Haas is wearing on Saturday for a more traditional look that has all the desirable attributes from performance fabrics.
With no doubt, Peter Millar will be very well represented during this week at Royal Troon.
