May 3, 2016 – Iconic four-time Ryder Cup host venue The Belfry will stage one of the qualifying tournaments for this year’s Copa Las Colinas mixed team event at Las Colinas Golf & Country Club.

The four-time host of golf’s biggest team event joins a number of other European courses that will stage Copa Las Colinas qualifying tournaments, each of which offers the winning team an all-expenses-paid trip to take part in the final at Las Colinas in September. British screen, radio and stage star Denise van Outen has already signed up to play in the final.

Joining The Belfry as UK members-only qualifying host venues are some equally desirable and luxurious clubs in the shape of The Centurion Club (16th June) in Hertfordshire, Stoke Park Country Club (28th May) in Buckinghamshire and West Sussex venue Goodwood, which also hosts world-famous motorsport and horse-racing events.

There will also be three qualifying events in Europe, at similarly high-quality venues. These are Ternesse Golf & Country Club near Antwerp in Belgium (7th May), Château d’Augerville just outside Paris (14th May) and Gardagolf Country Club on the shores of Lake Garda in Italy.

Members at all host clubs for 2016 Copa Las Colinas qualifying will receive preferential rates for golf and accommodation at Las Colinas. The final of this year’s Copa Las Colinas will be played from 11-13 September on the Cabell B. Robinson designed course, which plays host to the European Tour’s Qualifying School each year.
