A demanding and sustainable field
La Sella Golf has been chosen by the Ladies European Tour given the suitability of its facilities and its exceptional record for technical quality and incomparable scenic beauty.
Designed by José María Olazábal, the course is located in an exceptional natural environment, the Montgó Natural Park, and has 27 holes, which distinguishes it as the largest course on the Costa Blanca and one of the benchmark courses in the Valencian Community and Spain. Recently, La Sella Golf has undertaken an ambitious renovation of the course, providing it with new, more technological, sustainable and competitive facilities, which have managed to enhance La Sella’s already excellent reputation within Spanish and European golf.
The course has three 9-hole courses of unquestionable scenic beauty, where golf can be practiced all year round. The routes run through dense pine trees, flat terrain with water as part of the course and demanding final stretches designed to decide the rounds, as well as holes in elevated areas that offer spectacular views over the sea, the Segaria mountain and the Montgó Natural Park.
The facilities are rounded off with a large practice range, two Approach Greens, two Putting Greens, the most advanced golf instruction center on the Costa Blanca and a renowned Golf School; in addition to the idyllic Hoyo 19 Restaurant, with its sunny terrace overlooking the Green of Hoyo 9 and the Tee of Hoyo 1.
