May 17, 2012 – Geoff Mangum, recognized as the person with most knowledge in the world about the golf putt, is coming back to Barcelona to give a series of clinics for both teachers and amateur players. The putting guru will be in the CG Llavaneras (Barcelona) on Saturday June 9th, and the CG Terramar in Sitges (Barcelona) on Sunday June 10th.

Geoff Mangum has spent the last 25 years researching all questions related to this fundamental aspect of the game, as the putter is the most played club in a round of golf. He will be accompanied by James Marshall and our friends of dePique golf shop to share his knowledge.

“I met Geoff about six years ago because I did a training course of several days with him in Germany to become a coach of his PuttingZone“ says James Marshall, professor of golf.

Geoff has worked with players of all levels, from beginners to professional golfers, and his website is a reference for all information related to the putt (www.puttingzone.com).

The sessions will be very practical with a brief theoretical introduction, and will focus on the four skills of putt. At the end of these clinics attendees will know:

• What are the mechanisms for controlling distance
• Which is the best address to the ball
• How to read the putt with more guarantees
• How to check the alignment of the putter face

There will be two sessions: from 11h to 14h and 16h to 19h, up to 10 people per session (with simultaneous translation), and a cost of 75 € per person.
