April 27, 2015 – Nacho Elvira has won his second European Challenge Tour title with an excellent performance. A precise and seamless golf, along with a spectacular albatross the last day on the 4th hole, made him the best golfer in the leaderboard at the Madrid Challenge, held in El Encin Golf (Madrid). And this time he looked a more mature and more experienced golfer, and with greater presence given by Galvin Green, which allowed him to take the victory with class.

Galvin Green has undoubtedly begun to reap the benefits of signing the Spanish golfer last March, as this was the third official event in which the Spaniard played dressed by the Swedish clothing brand, leader in technical golf apparel. Nacho Elvira debuted on the European Tour in the last Madeira Islands Open (Portugal), and although he was well equipped to play in the rain, the weather conditions forced the cancellation of the tournament. Then in the Trophée Hassan II (Morocco), with more heat and humidity, he made the cut and finished in 62nd position.

And now in his first appearance of the year in the European Challenge Tour, the Madrid Challenge, he has won with full authority and style. The first day he was spectacular with an MADDOX golf shirt white/midnight blue/electric red, in Ventil8 that offers maximum breathability thanks to Galvin Green’s own technology, and mesh material on the back as part of the design. It was Wednesday, in hot conditions, and he combined the shirt with a Ventil8 NED red pants and a white WESTON leather belt.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were not so hot and Nacho chose to play with MARK golf shirts and NED pants the three days, with different colour combinations: white and blue (Thursday), green and white (Friday), and red and black (Saturday), with a white WESTON belt. And on the last day when it was a little fresher, he protected himself with CLIVE, a knitted sweater in a mercerized wool/acrylic blend.

The Spaniard, born in Santander and member of the Pro Spain Team (RFEG), came out determined to get his second win as a professional. He didn’t let the title escape him, which is a huge step in his goal to achieve the full 2016 European Tour card through the 2015 Challenge Tour.

He has certainly played very well equipped, demanding the most of himself even when playing under pressure. Nacho Elvira is now one of the professionals that makes up the Galvin Green Team in Spain and Portugal, along with Spanish golfers Alvaro Velasco, Carlos Pigem y Mireia Prat, and the Portuguese Tiago Cruz.
