Colmar – Cocona technology is chosen for its golf apparel

Colmar apuesta por la tecnología Cocona-1

Colmar apuesta por la tecnología Cocona-2December 11, 2013 – Colmar, the Italian brand of golf clothing, has chosen to use fabrics that are respectful to the environment and are made from natural elements, for its performance apparel in golf. This is reflected in its latest Fall-Winter 2013-14 Collection, in garments such as these technical polo shirts with short and long sleeves, available in different colours, made with Cocona, the quick-dry fabric made from coconut fibre.

Combining natural resources with the latest weaving technology, Colmar produces garments, made with Cocona, which are designed for golfers to cope superbly with perspiration. During the processing of microhole particles, active elements are extracted which, when combined to classical yarns generate a fabric capable of absorbing humidity and allowing perspiration.

Clothing with Cocona fibre dries faster than synthetic and natural fibres. This special combination leads to a sensation of comfort and freshness, even well after a long session of activity, such as a round on the golf course.

Moreover, Cocona technology absorbs and detains odour molecules. The effect is permanent, and regeneration of the fabric happens through a standard process of washing.
