May 28, 2014 – The third event of the 2014 Pro Tour Catalunya, the tour of the Catalunya PGA (Associació de Professionals de Golf de Catalunya), was held on Monday 26th of May at CG Terramar (Sitges), with a victory for Jose Romero.

After three hours of delay due to a storm, the tournament finally ran with 36 golfers. The good drainage of the golf course permitted play in good conditions and very good results were achieved, with three players below 70 strokes.

Once the 18 holes had been played, the leaderboard showed a tie between Jose Romero and Ignacio Feliu at 68 shots. Jorge Feliu was very close behind, third with 69, and Pol Bech and Ivo Giner, both fourth tied with 70 shots.

A play-off of three holes was necessary for Jose Romero’s victory. The competition between Catalan pros is wide open, as it has had three different winners in the three events held so far: Toni Enciso at Metropolitan Golf Barcelona, Ivo Giner at Vilalba Golf, and now Pepe Romero in CG Terramar.
