Callaway Golf – Lydia Ko becomes youngest ever player to reach 10 wins
October 26, 2015 – Callaway Golf Staffer Lydia Ko broke all kinds of records as she reclaimed the World No.1 spot in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, after a resounding victory at the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship.
Ko shot a final round 7-under 65, to finish well clear of the chasing pack for a 20-under par total of 268. The nine stroke margin of victory was the biggest of her career and is the largest on the LPGA Tour this season.
At just 18 years, 6 months and a day old, the win marks her 10th career LPGA Tour victory and she becomes the youngest player ever, male or female, to reach 10 wins. Lydia’s win with her full set of Callaway Golf equipment also marks the 35th win for Callaway drivers and Irons across the major worldwide Tours this year.
