July 11th, 2021 – The Club de Golf Barcelona organized on Friday 9^th of July the ‘Koeman Cup’, a charity event supported by Ronald Koeman, the coach of Futbol Club Barcelona, which donated all its profits to the Hospital San Joan de Deu of Barcelona. And among the participants were big names in the world of football, such as Pep Guardiola, Bernd Schuster or Ricky Puig, among others, in addition to Koeman himself.

And the magical moment came when Ronald Koeman and Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City coach, went to the driving range and met our young players from the Barcelona Golf Academy Summer Camp.

Both kindly posed for pictures and signed autographs for the boys and girls on our campus, who had a very special day, watching their soccer idols playing golf. Afterwards, they followed the rules as lucky spectators, cheering on each of the ‘Koeman Cup’ golfers as they played the nearest hole, and even following the match of the great stars of the tournament.

The detail of being the protagonist, appearing in a picture with Pep and Ronald on the Mundo Deportivo site, and the SPORT newspaper, was the peak that ended a special day for delighted boys and girls.
