April 13, 2016 – Softspikes, the world’s leading cleat brand, has revealed a range of translucent Pulsar cleats which feature in FootJoy’s latest innovation, FreeStyle.

First launched in 2003, the Softspikes Pulsar has revolutionised the golf cleat market thanks to its proprietary Dynamic Cleat Technology.

Delivering maximum comfort and performance via a 16 component design that reacts to every angle of force exerted by the golfer, Pulsar’s flexor knuckles offer enhanced strength and responsiveness, while reinforced arched webbing between each of the legs delivers instant energy return every time the cleat is compressed.

Available in Azure Blue, Slime Green and Cherry Red, the translucent range of cleats have been designed exclusively in Softspikes’ new Tour Lock Insert System.

Utilised in FootJoy’s flagship D.N.A. 2.0, FreeStyle and HydroLite golf shoes, the insert system utilises an ultra-low receptacle profile that has been engineered to measure only 4mm to bring golfers closer to the ground.

The new technology also features Softspikes’ new patent pending Cross System Protection (CSP). Inserting a post in the base of the receptacle allows for cleats only developed for the Tour Lock system to fit in the shoe, therefore eliminating the risk of improper cleats being inserted.
