August 22, 2023 – Everyone at Olympia Fields Country Club on Sunday were left stupefied as the Norwegian Viktor Hovland shot a course record of 61 to clinch an astonishing victory at the 2023 BMW Championship in Illinois.

The winner shot 10 birdies, that’s right, 10 birdies with KBS Tour-V 120 X in his PING Irons & KBS Tour-V 130 X in his PING Wedges. This was including seven birdies across the last nine holes, for an incredible back nine 28, to card an unprecedented nine-under 61.

The 25-year-old had begun the day three shots off the lead, only to shoot the lowest round of his career, and the lowest by a winner on the PGA Tour this season, to clinch his fifth PGA Tour VICTORY!
