December 8, 2014 – J.Lindeberg continues its mission as golf’s true bridge between function and fashion. For Autumn/Winter 2014, innovative performance fabrics are engineered to the mechanics of the golf swing, yet with easy clean-lines and to the demands of the modern, athletic lifestyle.
This season is about transitioning collection pieces to a golfer’s life both on- and off-course, like: micro stretch trousers that retain their fit and style after 18 holes; classically-styled knits; and bonded fleece jackets that hit just the right trend on the green as on the street.
“We at J.Lindeberg constantly try to push the boundaries of golf fashion with the most advanced technological developments and the latest fashion design and trends. With the assistance and knowledge of our Tour players we create collections that give our customers the ultimate golf experience, whether they are pro golfers or discerning amateurs,” says J.Lindeberg CEO, Stefan Engström.
2014 Autumn/Winter highlights
1) Debut of J.Lindeberg Stockholm Luxury Golf: A capsule collection created as a nod and as a bridge between golf and its signature fashion and tailoring collections. The 26-pieces offering is suited for the modern gentleman golfer in fine, natural fabrics with sartorial details. Going forward, the seasonal concept explores forward-thinking design and interprets it for the golf course.
2) The organic crossover appeal between J.Lindeberg’s golf and ski collections: Design details throughout golf draw inspiration from and employ a similar layering system to J.Lindeberg’s rising ski collection. Several pieces throughout men’s and women’s golf transition easily between green to slope to reinforce the season’s theme of functionality and capture ski chic, one of the hottest fashion trends of the season.
3) Men’s and Women’s Tour Program: J.Lindeberg-endorsed golfers are dressed in similarly-styled outfits between The PGA, Web.com, European Tour and the European Challenge Tour, LPGA and Ladies European Tour. PGA Tour veteran Camilo Villegas stands out on J.Lindeberg’s roster of golfers for the season. Among the other J.Lindeberg-dressed players to watch: Camilla Lennarth, Thidapa Suwannapura, Tyrell Hatton, Victor Dubuisson, Nick Flanagan and David Lingmerth. TrendyGolf.com-endorsed player James Driscoll has been also wearing J.Lindeberg regularly in 2014.
