Emporium Golf – New distribution of Tom Morris, Peter Scott, Imperial and G-Fore
July 31, 2013 – Emporium Golf, a Spanish company that distributes premium golf brands, has added new brands that complete its portfolio aimed at golf shops and pro shops.
In addition to the major brands that it has marketed up to now, including Lottusse Golf shoes, Alberto Golf pants, Masters Golf Fashion clothing and the very exclusive apparel of Aquascutum, this supplier has now incorporated prestigious names such as Scottish clothing firms Tom Morris and Peter Scott, Imperial caps or the attractive G-Fore gloves for their distribution in Spain and Portugal.
“Emporium Golf offers alternative brands for a type of player who is looking for a superior quality,” says Alejandro Allepuz, Commercial Director of the company based in Torremolinos (Malaga, Spain), who presented the 2014 Spring-Summer Collections of all the brands during the 2nd Week of UCA Golf.
Thus, the list of premium brands in Emporium Golf portfolio is as follows:
Aquascutum: This is an English firm of very exclusive golf apparel, until recently known for dressing the Australian player Adam Scott, which is sold in high category golf clubs such as Valderrama or Abama. Very few shops have access to its collections, which can be ordered from an iPad thanks to the SmartView 360 programme that optimizes ordering procedures (www.aquascutumgolf.com).
Lottusse Golf: The first golf collection of this famous Spanish name of footwear was launched this year (2013), offering highest quality golf shoes that can also be personalised in composition and colour by request of the golf club or pro shop. The 2014 collection will bring the second generation of Twister and a new model, the Dynamic, both using colours in the leather combinations of Soccer and Rufus (www.lottusse.com).
Tom Morris – St Andrews: Based on the flagship stores of St. Andrews or Celtic Manor, we will now see shop-in-shops in some Spanish pro-shops. The Scottish brand with the logo of old Tom (1848) offers everything for men (cotton, merino, cashmere…), with a more urban concept, but based on the quintessential Scottish style (www.tommorris.com).
Peter Scott: A collection of genuinely Scottish clothing for golf, which specialises in jerseys, pullovers and sleeveless jerseys of all kinds. The patterns and texture of their iconic garments, the fine cashmere sweaters, are easy to recognise. The collection is inspired by this great legacy, offering styles that range from classic to contemporary (www.peterscott.co.uk).
Alberto Golf: A German brand that specialises in pants developed specifically for golf, with collaboration in the design by the professional golfer Alex Cejka. The pants are notable for their elasticity, with details like a silicon band behind the waistband to hold in your shirt when you bend to pick up the ball or when you are putting. There are many colours to choose from, for both men and women, and garments designed for the rain, the wind and the cold (www.alberto-pants.com).
G-Fore: This American brand of gloves, with the background of an Italian designer, enjoys great popularity in the U.S., as it is a favourite of celebrities when they play golf. This is a premium Cabretta leather glove, very exclusive, for those who don’t want to use a standard golf glove, and is identifiable by the logo on its velcro flap. And you have up to 22 colours to choose from (www.gfore.com).
Masters Golf Fashion: This Austrian firm offers quality and fashion golf clothing, and is very attractive especially for senior players. Around 80% of its collection is women’s clothing, very fashionable and with garments which combine well together, and look and feel great both on the golf course and in the clubhouse (www.masters-golf-fashion.com).
Imperial: This American company offers all kinds of customizable golf and sports caps, hats and visors which, in its latest collection, are characterized by the incorporation of technical fabrics, with original side holes, which make them lightweight, waterproof and breathable (www.imperialsports.com).
