June 10, 2014 – The 2014 Coppa Colmar touches Spain this year for the first time, and does so on a golf course of international prestige. It will be the weekend of 21st and 22nd of June at the Real Club de Golf El Prat (Barcelona), with the added attraction that it will host the 2015 Open de España.

The entries for the event are now open and can be made by mail to rcgep@rcgep.com, and more information is available through the club’s website at www.realclubdegolfelprat.com.

The Coppa Colmar is an amateur golf tour created in 2010 by Manifattura Mario Colombo, the Italian manufacturer of Colmar sportswear, specifically to promote the Colmar golf collections, supported by its players on European Tour: Alejandro Cañizares, Edoardo Molinari, Marco Crespi and Andrea Pavan.

This year’s schedule consists of a 12 stage tournament starting from March and ending on 26th and 27th of September with a grand finale at Golf Club Milano, which will also host the 2015 Italian Open. But before that, it will have gone through golf courses of Italy, France, Austria, and now is the turn of Spain.

These are tournaments with an high level of organization, with hospitality and cocktails, with trophies, Colmar polo shirts, and special editions clothes of the brand, and other prizes offered by the sponsors.
