October 22, 2014 – Colmar, the Italian sportswear brand, is presenting its Winter 2014 Golf Collection to us, which will keep us warm and dry during this season on the course. The collection offers a full range of garments for men and women, with warm fabrics and muted colours, while maintaining the technologies applied to each product.

The new Colmar collection is very suitable to be worn by golf lovers during the cold season, and even more by those who lead an active daily life. It consists of practical and easily matchable garments to enhance or decrease the layers of warmth depending on the weather conditions. Also, with them you are defined by a design that gives you a precise style: sporty and elegant at the same time.

For women, Colmar proposes colours ranging from blue to green to yellow, with light heather grey inserts. And for men, the colours of the season are azure-blue and grey, with splashes of red cherry.

The wool sweaters also have fully lined sleeves, while there is genuine goose filling in the quilted jackets which are made ​​of the new innovative Cocona cotton, an extremely interesting technology. The winter version of the cocona yarn, used in Colmar’s polos, is processed with a special treatment from coconut that makes the fabric warm and breathable at the same time, yet extremely comfortable.

The ladies’ polo shirts are now even more feminine thanks to the touches of fashion in the details, colours and prints. This characteristic can also be found in five jacquard pants with pockets, both for men and ladies, made with a new knitted fabric by Colmar – the same concept as is used in the technical socks – which are bi-stretch and particularly warm and comfortable.

For rainy weather, the hyper-technical pants have details such as the side zipper rising above the knee, which remains hidden inside the rim and closed by Velcro, and also a spat shoe cover to prevent water from entering inside the footwear.

Finally, a first in lady’s golf clothing: the skirt in Cocona cotton, with microfiber leggings beneath. A new garment which, once tested, will become essential.
