Acushnet – New Headquarters for Mainland Europe Inaugurated in France, a Major Strategic Step for Titleist and FootJoy

June 19, 2026 – The company brought together specialised European golf media, Tour professionals and sports ambassadors in Chantilly to showcase facilities designed to drive a new era of innovation, fitting and golf club manufacturing in Europe.

On 16th and 17th June, the ‘Acushnet Mainland Europe Grand Opening’ took place, an exclusive event held to officially present the company’s new headquarters for Mainland Europe in Montataire, France, and to introduce a select group of specialised media, including MyGolfWay, to the new facilities that will shape the company’s future across the continent.

Leading the welcome was Julien Rituit, General Manager of Acushnet Mainland Europe. And over the course of two intensive days, attendees had the opportunity to experience first-hand a project that reflects Acushnet‘s commitment to innovation, performance and excellence.

A project to bring together management, training, fitting and manufacturing operations under one roof to serve the Titleist and FootJoy brands across Europe’s leading markets.

The tour began at the new corporate complex in Montataire, where visitors explored the modern Acushnet Mainland Europe headquarters, the future European Titleist golf club manufacturing facility, and the various areas dedicated to technical training and product development.

One of the highlights of the visit was the L’Atelier Scotty Cameron Experience, where guests discovered the exclusive world of the prestigious putter brand, as well as visiting the Titleist Tour Truck and attending a series of presentations by the company’s leadership team outlining Acushnet’s strategy for Europe.

The programme also included a visit to the new FootJoy Experience & Shoe Fitting area, equipped to provide personalised shoe fitting sessions, together with a sports performance demonstration held in the centre’s gym by Dave Phillips, co-founder of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), the world-leading authority in golf-specific performance training.

A Fully Renovated National Fitting Centre

The second major focus of the event was the newly renovated National Fitting Centre, located at the prestigious Chantilly Golf Club. Designed as one of the most advanced fitting centres in Europe, it offers golfers personalised club fitting experiences using Titleist’s most advanced technology.

This venue also hosted the official welcome reception prior to the gala dinner, providing the perfect showcase for the brand’s philosophy: delivering the most suitable equipment to help every golfer maximise performance.

Golf, the Tour and Leading Figures from French Sport

The second day was dedicated to golf, featuring a tournament played on the Vineuil Old Course at Chantilly under the Shamble format, a competition specifically designed to encourage participation and entertainment.

Each team was joined for nine holes by a Tour professional, giving guests the opportunity to share the course and exchange strategy with some of the leading names in European golf.

Among the professionals taking part were Matteo Manassero, Bernd Wiesberger, David Ravetto, Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Damien Perrier, Sebastian Gros, Yannick Schültz, Jeong-Weon Ko and Marc-Antoine Farry, adding considerable sporting appeal to the event.

The occasion also brought together renowned figures from French sport, including four-time Formula One World Champion Alain Prost, former tennis player Guy Forget and FIFA World Cup winner Alain Boghossian, reinforcing the official character and international significance of the inauguration.

A Commitment to the Future of the European Market

The opening of these new facilities represents one of Acushnet‘s most important strategic projects in Europe in recent years. Bringing together corporate offices, a manufacturing centre, training facilities and a modern National Fitting Centre within a single complex will enable the company to strengthen its relationships with distributors, professionals, clubs and consumers.

The creation of this new manufacturing facility is a direct response to the strong growth in demand for Titleist golf clubs experienced in recent years. While annual sales growth across many markets averaged around 5% before the pandemic, since 2020 this figure has increased to approximately 10% per year, leading Acushnet to conduct a study in 2022 which concluded that production capacity would need to increase by 50% by 2030.

In response, the company has decided to establish a new operations plant for Mainland Europe, a facility covering approximately 6,000 square metres, featuring six assembly lines, a workforce of around 55 employees and an estimated production capacity of 300,000 golf clubs per year in its standard configuration.

The site is currently undergoing technical installation, with this phase expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2027, while production is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2028.

With this investment, Acushnet strengthens its presence across Mainland Europe and reaffirms its commitment to continuing to lead innovation within the golf industry by delivering products and services of the highest quality under the hallmark of excellence that defines Titleist and FootJoy.
