June 21, 2016 – Callaway Golf has announced an extension to its Mack Daddy 3 Milled Wedges line, created by Roger Cleveland, with the introduction of a new Gold Nickel finish. The rich Gold Nickel wedges will sit alongside the existing Matte Black and Satin Chrome models and are available in S-Grind, the most versatile Grind suitable for a wide range of turf conditions, with loft options of 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58° and 60°.

The MD3 Milled Gold Nickel Wedges showcase the same game enhancing technologies that have made this wedge family a firm favourite with amateur players and Callaway’s global roster of Staff Professionals.

Progressive Groove Optimization

All MD3 Milled Wedges feature Progressive Groove Optimization, a 3-groove package precision-milled into the face to optimise spin as loft progresses. This design feature creates a smoother spin transition from irons to wedges.

The 30V grooves in the pitching and gap Wedges are built for shots that require a steep angle into the ball. The 20V grooves in the sand wedges are designed for full shots and bunker shots, and the wider 5V grooves in the lob wedges offer better control out of the rough and around the green.

Displaying a high toe profile and a semi-straight leading edge, each wedge utilises weight ports in the rear of the club to reposition mass for better shot-making, especially out of deep rough.
