September 11, 2014 – The Guinness World Records 2015 book was launched yesterday with some of the amazing people, animals and things you can find on the planet. In the pages of the book and on the Guinness World Records YouTube channel you can see the world’s tallest, shortest, fastest, oldest person and also… the longest driver in the world!

Danish golf profesional enthusiast Karsten Maas has set a new Guinness World Record for the “Longest Usable Golf Club” with an impressive 14′ 5″ club that can hit a ball 165 meters. Maas demonstrated his technique for using the club in a recent video from Guinness. It’s so long that when he’s taken a shot he still needs to swing the club round three times due to the momentum.

“Now it’s here, the new Guinness World Records book. This is the 60^th edition, and a really good one with 3-D animations and a lot of new records”, says Karsten Maas, specialist in Trick Golf Show.

“I have the honour of being very well represented in the book, and of course that makes me proud.”
