March 18, 2014 – The first event of the 2014 Pro Tour Catalunya, organized by the Catalunya PGA, was held on the 12th of March in the Metropolitan Golf Barcelona and was won by Toni Enciso.

The event ended with a tie of 72 shots between Toni Enciso and Agustin Domingo, that was finally decided in favour of the former after the first hole of playoff.

This first tournament also served as the official presentation of the new Professional Golf Association of Catalonia (Catalunya PGA) to the large number of Catalan golf professionals who participated in the event, a total of 54.

‘First Seminar Catalunya PGA’ at Club de Golf Sant Cugat

Besides the organization of the Professional Tour of Catalonia, the Catalunya PGA also offers other services to its members, such as clinics, seminars, career counseling, etc.

The ‘First Seminar Catalunya PGA’ will be given on the 1st of April, at Club de Golf Sant Cugat, with the presentation of David Pastor, president of the PGA of Spain, who will review the concepts of The Golfing Machine and Trackman and the application of the most advanced technology in professional lessons. José Vicente Pérez and Enric Lopez will also discuss the keys to increasing the number of lessons and income. The closing date for inscriptions is Wednesday 26th of March.
