July 12, 2012 – Danish brand Ecco, distributed by Holiday Golf in Spain and Portugal, has announced the extension of its hybrid sport-casual offerings with the launch of Performance Textile, Luxe Lizzard and Nomad Golf Street models for 2012.

With the most durable outsole of any hybrid shoe on the market, Golf Street features 100 molded TPU traction bars that have been shown to last five times longer than rubber. The patented design ensures superior grip and comfort when walking on the course or around town.

Like all Ecco golf shoes, each pair is constructed using a direct injection process that provides superior cushioning, stability and comfort via a one-piece shoe that’s built without glue or stitching.

The uppers of Golf Street Performance Textile combine smooth, soft leather with technical fabrics to create a young, modern look. Its textile lining uses an extremely breathable open mesh and removable textile insole to wick moisture and provide extra cushioning.

With uppers combining smooth and reptile printed full-grain cowhide, Golf Street Luxe Lizzard embodies Ecco status as one of the world’s largest luxury leather producers. This is furthered by a “Second Skin Lining,” which is made from the world’s softest leather. Developed exclusively at the Ecco network of tanneries, the ultra-premium material is extremely breathable, wicks moisture and creates a rich interior feel.

And the upper of Golf Street Nomad comprises of rich and luxurious camel leather for an exquisite look and feel. Soft and breathable textile lining ensures a flexible fit, allowing feet to feel fresh and dry in all weather conditions. Anatomically shaped 3mm insole provides a padded interior while remaining lightweight for superb protection.
