1 September 2014 – The Amateur Long Drive event of the year is about to take place in Spain. On the 13th and 14th of September, there will be a complete programme of the Power Academy by Gerard Pera, followed by the Spanish Amateur Long Drive Cup. If you like to hit hard off the tee, don’t miss it.

On Saturday 13th of September the Long Drive Power Academy of Gerard Pera, the only Spanish golfer who has played the finals of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship -the world event for the longest hitters on the planet-, will offer a course about power applied to golf in order to gain distance with the driver. All participants will receive theory, demo, practice and specific physical preparation for this explosive discipline. This is a unique opportunity to improve your distance off the tee, with the help of the best Spanish specialist.

And Sunday 14th of September is the day of the Spanish Long Drive Amateur Cup (LDA). Beginning with an introduction to the LDA concept by Gerard Pera, the competition is divided into four categories: Adults, Seniors, Ladies and Under-21. After the qualifying stages, the final of the Long Drive Amateur will bring together the top five players in each category, to close with the awards ceremony.
